This Morning fans ripped into Friday’s ‘waste of time’ episode after a guest appeared to cancel last minute – leaving Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary to fill the time.
The resulting segment was a call in to the hosts, where fans could ring or email with questions and receive advice from Alison and Dermot.
However viewers were left less than impressed by the makeshift segment, which one fan branded ‘more irritating than a prostate exam’, after no one called in.
They also slammed the ITV producers as they claimed: ‘Clearly these emails are made up.’
But that wasn’t the only part of Friday’s show that viewers were unhappy about, after they claimed a performance by Elphaba from the West End musical Wicked had put them off going to see the upcoming film.

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, they wrote: ‘That’s it. I’ve had enough today. Programme has somehow got worse as it went on. Awful.
