The unexpected split between Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury has raised eyebrows, with many questioning

The timing of their breakup and subsequent business ventures has only added fuel to the fire. Just weeks after their separation, Molly-Mae launched her clothing range, MaeBe, while Tommy released his autobiography, *Lightning Can Strike Twice: My Life as a Fury*. A source close to the couple recently spoke to *MailOnline*, raising questions about the authenticity of the breakup. “If they announced their split, which was presumably sad news for them, why would they not want to share the happy news with their fans?” the source asked. “Surely you’d think that they would want to tell the world that they are back together and their brand is back intact. I loved a pint of beer, loved to drink, and it is what it is.”

She revealed that she had been “angry… very hurt… and traumatized” by his behavior, particularly at her sister Zoe’s wedding. “He’s never had an alcohol problem but alcohol caused problems for us,” she said, explaining that it got to the point where she wasn’t looking forward to anything because alcohol affected everything in their lives.

Despite the personal and emotional toll of their breakup, Molly-Mae has expressed frustration over the speculation surrounding it. During a press junket for her documentary, she addressed the rumors that their split was simply a publicity stunt. “I actually say in the documentary that I wish it was a publicity stunt because it would have been a lot easier,” she explained. “That, for me, above everything, has been the most frustrating part. Going through all of this with the turmoil of a breakup has been incredibly hard.”

She continued, “To have those comments—and I see all of them—and people saying, ‘This has obviously just been done for the launch of her brand or a publicity stunt,’ that is very painful to read because it’s real life. Tommy and I have a baby together and it’s very, very real. It’s a really hard thing that we have both gone through in the past six months.”

Molly-Mae went on to emphasize the authenticity of her experience, stating that the documentary would address any lingering questions and provide a more honest portrayal of the challenges she and Tommy have faced. “I think this documentary will clear up any questions of that,” she said. “I think that people will be quite surprised by how honest we have been.”
