The guard managed to catch the object one-handed while simultaneously reprimanding the fans in question.
Fans are majorly impressed with Taylor Swift‘s bodyguard after new footage from her time in Munich showed him catching bracelets hurled by fans with one hand to protect the singer.
The video, which was taken during her first night in the German locale, showed the “Karma” songstress departing from backstage and heading toward the stadium exit, which took her past a section of adoring fans, to whom she waved as she walked past, and underneath another set of seats from which others yelled and tried to toss friendship bracelets at her.

Swift flinched as the first bracelet came flying at her, and one member of her security team, walking behind her, quickly caught the next with a single hand as he pointed his finger at the culprits, telling them off as they made it to the archway that would take them away from the main part of the stadium.
“She nearly got hit 😨,” the TikToker who uploaded the clip wrote alongside it, and fans at home were aghast that, in the wake of incidents where artists have been injured by flying objects, such as Bebe Rexha being hit in the face with a phone and Kelsea Ballerini taking a bracelet to the eye—not to mention a previous incident involving Swift that led fans to reprimand others after her security was caught scolding them—there were people who were still choosing to throw things at the artist.
“i thought it was common knowledge that we don’t throw things at other people,” one fan wrote, while another suggested that “some people really lack brain cells” and if the behavior continued, she may “start using the cart to leave,” referencing the sneaky way the singer gets backstage without being seen by the crowd.
“Like she’s going to run around picking up your friendship bracelets off the ground that you just chucked at her face 🙄🙄 what told them that what a good idea?!” another wondered.
“The way she flinched I feel so bad she must be scared leave her be…” someone else wrote, while another said, “If you love and respect her then you’d know one of her biggest fears is things being thrown at her.”
After fans threw gifts on stage during one of her shows in Buenos Aires, the singer herself paused the show to set some “gentle healthy boundaries” with the rowdy crowd, telling her fans that “it really freaks [her] out when stuff gets thrown on the stage.”
But many were impressed by the bodyguard’s emphatic response, with one calling him “unmatched.”
“70000+ people and you see the one who’s throwing a tiny a– bracelet (I assume) WHILE you’re walking behind her,” they pointed out. “Crazy.”
“Her security though! He is on it,” another commended, in part, while someone else said the way he was “shaming” those throwing things at Swift was “the best thing.”
“The finger wag killed me,” several others shared similar sentiments. Hopefully this time, the fans feel properly chagrinned, and the finger wag won’t have to make a third appearance.
