Before the EURO 2024 final, fans discovered a pretty girl appearing with King Felipe VI in the Olympiastadion stands.

This girl with a bright smile is Infanta Sofia. Sofia is the second daughter of King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia. 

She is currently second in line to the throne of the Kingdom of Spain, after her sister Leonor, Princess of Asturias.

Although only 17 years old, Sofia’s every gesture exudes a royal aura.

After the final, Sofia and her father went down to celebrate with the Spanish team. The girl in 2007 was shy when touching the European Championship trophy with King Felipe VI.

In Spain, the title of princess is reserved for the heir to the crown. Therefore, only Sofia’s older sister, Leonor, is associated with this title. 

By the age of 18, Sofia can be awarded the title of Duchess.

Sofia has appeared with her sister Leonor many times at Spanish Royal events. Leonor was rumored to have had feelings for midfielder Gavi but the two did not end up together.

15 July was a happy day for Spanish sports. Just hours before the men’s football team won the EURO, tennis player Carlos Alcaraz also won the Wimbledon championship, after defeating Djokovic.
