Katy Perry shocked partygoers as she made a surprise appearance at Pacha nightclub in Ibiza after her comeback single, Woman’s World, flopped.
The singer, 39, turned heads as she showed off her toned stomach in an orange diamante embellished triangle bikini top and a matching thong.
Katy teamed the stylish two-piece with a pair of bold red trousers which hung low on her hips and sported an extravagant choker necklace as she partied the night away.
The beauty styled her locks in loose waves for the evening and showed off her natural beauty with minimal make-up.
The hitmaker, who jetted off to Ibiza recently to celebrate the release of her Woman’s World EP, appeared in high spirits as she danced alongside the performers and DJs at the club.
Pacha Ibiza is having a monumental season with world-renowned resident artists including CamelPhat, Bedouin, Robin Schulz, Solomun and Marco Carola appearing throughout the season.
Dedicated to showcasing the world’s most sought-after artists, Pacha Ibiza will also host a series of limited events with artists such as Anitta, Jason Derulo, Tyga, Peggy Gou, and many more.
Katy’s outing comes amid claims she has jumped on the Ozempic bandwagon.
After unveiling the cover art for Woman’s World and sharing a video from the shoot, fans were quick to speculate she had used a weight loss wonder drug – a favourite of celebrities including Sharon Osbourne, Scott Disick, and Oprah Winfrey – to achieve her new figure.
However, an insider told DailyMail.com. she has been working out more and insisted her toned physique is down to ‘working hard’.
They said: ‘Her weight loss has nothing to do with any help from Ozempic or weight loss drugs.’
They added: ‘She just worked hard and is eating better than ever.’
Ibiza is the place to be right now as Kylie Minogue, 56, who is referred to as the Princess of Pop, also enjoyed a wild night out at a nightclub on the Spanish island earlier this week.
The Aussie singer, 56, shared she was at DC10’s nightclub for the venue’s iconic Circoloco dance party on Instagram.
She posted a series of videos of herself partying the night away while her new dance anthem Edge of Saturday Night blared out on the speakers, sending the crowds wild.
Katy’s surprise appearance comes after her comeback single, Woman’s World, had a lacklustre opening on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart.
The song about female empowerment failed to crack the Top 10 and landed at number 63 in its first complete tracking week.
The pop anthem — from Katy’s forthcoming seventh studio album 143 — debuted at No. 65 on the Global 200 and at No. 47 on the UK charts, as per Variety.
As for streaming, it landed at No. 110 on Spotify’s U.S.-based chart and at No. 58 on their global chart.
With the single also plummeting down the US iTunes chart since its July 11 release, Katy is said to be ‘freaking out’ and demanding that her team go ‘back to the drawing board’ to save her album from suffering the same fate.
In comparison, her last solo single Daisies, from her 2020 album Smile, peaked at No. 40 on the Billboard chart, before dropping off shortly afterwards.
Katy — who was recently seen filming a raunchy new music video with hunky shirtless model and stuntman Oscar Dorta — is ‘pointing the fingers at everyone but herself’ following the flop single, according to insiders – who claim she is desperately scrambling to devise a new plan to save her musical comeback.
The lead single from her upcoming album – billed as an empowering feminist anthem – was quickly dismissed as unoriginal and hypocritical.
The Teenage Dream hitmaker also faced criticism for the sexualized nature of the accompanying video, as well as her decision to work with music producer Dr. Luke, 50, after his highly publicised legal battle with TikTok singer Kesha, 37.
‘Katy is freaking out right now because she is very aware of the feedback that Woman’s World is getting,’ an insider exclusively told DailyMail.com. ‘She is pointing the fingers at everyone but herself, but it is her own fault.’
