It’s been an eventful and successful first month for Craig Melvin as he settles into his new role as co-host of *Today* alongside Savannah Guthrie.

Savannah revealed that Craig would be heading to Milan next week to get a firsthand look at the Olympic preparations. 

“He’s a giver,” Savannah quipped, highlighting Craig’s commitment to providing viewers with an inside scoop. “He’s going to scope out the scene for us next week.”

Craig, always the team player, confirmed her statement with his trademark humor. “I’m taking one for the team,” he joked. “I’m going to Italy next week and gonna give you a bit of a preview.”
