SAD NEWS: Baywatch star Nicole Eggert, 52, reveals what she has been going through due to a rare form of cancer: “I feel like I’m no longer living each day I wake up. Everyone shuns me because of the strange odor coming from my body.”

Nicole Eggert was spotted while running errands in Los Angeles on Friday.

The Baywatch vet, 52 — who recently went out for the first time since shaving off her signature blonde locks — appeared to be in good spirits as she shopped at Smart & Final amid her breast cancer battle.

The actress stepped out of her car and carried various tote bags for the grocery trip. For the casual outing, she opted for a loose black tee and trendy ivory trousers.

She accessorized with dark sunglasses and brown sandals with a gold buckle accent.

The Glendale native made the difficult decision of cutting off every inch of her signature blonde locks back in March.

Nicole, who was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer in December, told Inside Edition that her doctors found more of the disease present in her system despite undergoing treatment.

She told the outlet in February that she ‘kicks’ herself for not performing self exams and for the breast implants she got at 19 affected her ability to detect any anomalies.

The actress explained that she first knew something wrong in October after gaining 25 pounds and experiencing pain in her left breast.

Results from a mammogram and three biopsies confirmed her fears and she was diagnosed with stage 2 Cribriform Carcinoma breast cancer.

‘When I felt it, my heart dropped and I was like oh my god. Nobody could take me, so I walked into every breast care center. It’s horrifying because every day and every minute that passes, you know it’s growing,’ she said recalling the moment.

She told the outlet of her rare condition, warning viewers to take mammograms and self exams seriously.

‘My heart dropped, I lost all hearing, everything sank. It’s named invasive cribriform carcinoma. It’s very rare,’ she explained.

‘The self-exams, I’m telling you, I kick myself. That’s the one thing I should have been doing.’

Nicole expressed her regret of having breast implants saying that she would have been able to take action before the disease progressed.

She said: ‘If I didn’t have them and I had my smaller, natural breasts, I am sure I would have felt it much sooner.’

The starlet famously portrayed lifeguard Summer Quinn on the television series Baywatch from 1992 to 1994.

She told People in January she left the series due to insecurity with her appearance and sexuality.

Nicole Eggert was seen out and about in Los Angeles this past weekend, looking cheerful and content as she ran errands at Smart & Final. Despite her ongoing battle with breast cancer, the 52-year-old Baywatch alum seemed unfazed as she loaded up on groceries and supplies, sporting a laid-back black t-shirt and chic ivory pants for the occasion. With her signature blonde locks now gone – a decision she made earlier in the year – Nicole appeared confident and at ease as she navigated the store with her tote bags in tow.Having been diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer late last year, Nicole has been candid about her experience, sharing the difficulties and challenges she has faced along the way. Reflecting on her journey, she admitted to Inside Edition that neglecting self-exams and the impact of her breast implants have weighed heavily on her mind. It was only after experiencing unexplained weight gain and discomfort in her left breast that she sought medical attention, eventually discovering the presence of stage 2 Cribriform Carcinoma.Describing the moment when she first detected a problem, Nicole recalled feeling a sinking sensation, realizing the severity of the situation. Despite her rare diagnosis, she has been adamant about the importance of regular mammograms and self-examinations, urging others to be vigilant about their breast health. Reflecting on her decision to undergo breast augmentation in her youth, she expressed regret over how it may have delayed her ability to detect the cancer sooner.Looking back on her time on Baywatch, Nicole opened up about the insecurities that led her to leave the show in the mid-90s, citing concerns about her appearance and personal identity. However, through her current battle with cancer, she has found a newfound strength and resilience that has allowed her to face her challenges head-on.As Nicole continues to navigate her health journey with courage and determination, she serves as a reminder of the importance of self-care and vigilance in maintaining our well-being. Her story is a testament to the power of resilience and the strength that can be found in facing adversity with grace and determination.
