RUTH Langsford is set to break her silence on her split from Eamonn Holmes when she returns to Loose Women next week.

The 64-year-old, who announced her split from Eamonn in May, has been absent from the daytime TV show since April but is now ready to open up about what has been going on.

Eammon and Ruth have split after 14 years of marriage
According to reports, Ruth feels like she ‘owes’ it to the viewers to address the situation and she thinks the Loose Women environment is prefect for that.

A TV insider told Online: “The presenters on Loose Women have a history of opening up about their marriage splits on air and it’s a very supportive environment. lime

“Ruth knows the viewers are heavily invested in her breakup so she will be addressing her and Eamonn for the first time on the show.

“The audience has been there through the highs and the lows of her relationship, she has always been very open and honest and next week will be no different… she owes it to the viewers to say something.

“She will be surrounded by the people she’s closest to on the show and then will be drawing a line under it… she has no plans to do a big interview, this will be the one and only time she speaks.” lime

Her decision comes after The Sun revealed that Eamonn has grown close to relationship counsellor Katie Alexander, 42, in the wake of his split.

The two have been on numerous outings together in the last year.

Katie met Eamonn on X/Twitter in 2015 after she commented on a post and it sparked a conversation.

She has been visiting Eamonn in his rented apartment, and he also attended an event near her home in Yorkshire.
