Loose Women presenter Ruth Langsford has showcased a brand new look after undergoing a full hair makeover, with fans flocking to gush over her, branding her a ‘so young and pretty’
Ruth Langsford was hailed a ‘total babe’ after showing off her new hair transformation.
The Loose Women presenter underwent a huge hair makeover at a lavish salon and showed off the results on her social media.
Ruth, 64, shared a reel on Instagram which documented her time in the salon, with two stylists getting to work on her blonde locks.
She revealed she’d had new, longer extensions fitted after fans had urged her to keep her hair longer.
“Extensions time again! @leobancroftsalon. Decided to keep them a bit longer this time (lots of you told me to last time!) Fitted by the lovely Lauren (you can also book Kristen) cut and styled by Leo. I’m not good at doing this ‘bendy wave’ stuff so not sure if I’ll keep them this length, but going to give it a whirl! Thanks @leobancroft great to catch up! #hair#extensions#leobancroft,” Ruth told her fans.
The clip started with Ruth talking fans through what was going to happen and ended with her proudly showing off her new look. Her new hair looked to be much blonder and longer, with fans loving the switch up.
“Arrrr Ruth you look beautiful and it makes you look younger! Really suits you that cut!” one person gushed. A second added: “Total babe,” and another commented: “Love it Ruth. You look so young and pretty.”
A fourth fan told Ruth: “You look lovely. So much softer and I genuinely think takes years off you! With everything going on you’ve been classy.” A final follower said: “Loving the longer length Ruth really pretty.”
Ruth’s makeover comes after she and husband Eamonn Holmes announced they’d ended their relationship after over two decades together. The former couple tied the knot in 2010 after being an item since 1997, and share a son named Jack.
Eamonn, 62, appears to have already moved on from Ruth. The GB News presenter has been spotted out and about with his rumoured new love interest, Katie Alexander, 42. The pair have been seen together on several occasions, having struck up a friendship during what has been a challenging year for Eamonn.
Their bond has since blossomed following Eamonn’s separation from his estranged wife Ruth, with Katie’s son now ‘confirming’ their romance. Katie’s former partner Michael Devine, who was 59 when he met a 19 year old Katie, shared with Mail Online that their son Ben has informed him of Katie’s new relationship with Eamonn.
