TV presenters Ruth and Eamonn have been married for 12 years, and the duo are undoubtedly not shy when it comes to dishing on their bedroom antics – Daily Star takes a look

Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes, both 62, have been a much-loved part of British television for over two decades.

The married duo, who have shared their love with the nation throughout the years, began dating in 1997 and welcomed their first son, Jack Alexander, five years later.

Eight years after the birth of their son, the showbiz couple tied the knot in a lavish ceremony at a 19th-century hotel on June 26, 2010.

The presenters co-hosted This Morning from 2006 up until August 2021, and over the last decade or two, they haven’t been shy about sharing the saucy details about their private life.

During an episode of Loose Women in 2017, Ruth accidentally let slip that her tv husband was like “a steam train” in the bedroom.

A discussion unfolded on the daytime favourite to suggest a man’s dance floor antics showcase what he’s really like between the sheets.

Ruth, who doesn’t shy away from spilling secrets about her active sex life, jumped up from her seat to showcase her husband’s skills.

She joked: “Well, if that is the rule my husband is a steam train.”

Demonstrating the move, she added: “As soon as music starts, he just goes like a steam train. My husband can be seen to be doing it most Fridays.” lime

“My husband makes me feel sexy”

“I still feel sexy, but a lot of that is because my husband makes me feel sexy,” Ruth told The Sun’s Fabulous magazine.

“I don’t walk around all day going, ‘I’m too sexy for my skirt’ but Eamonn loves me and will tell me I’m gorgeous.

“If you’re tired and you’ve put on weight that’s not conducive to feeling like a sex kitten, but you can have a healthy sex life after the menopause.”

She added: “Eamonn is my biggest fan and always makes me feel really sexy.

“When I think I’m at my slimmest, he thinks I’m too thin. He likes me curvy – he loves boobs, bottoms and legs

“I’m really lucky because it would be awful to have a man who commented on me piling on the pounds.”

Speaking on Loose Women, Ruth explained to her co-hosts that she had enjoyed “erotica” sessions with her long-term partner, not dissimilar to that of the Fifty Shades franchise. lime

During a discussion about bondage, Ruth made a rather saucy admission and said: “I read the first one and said, ‘Who hasn’t done a bit of that?”’

She added: “I would call it erotica. I’m not talking whipping and things, but erotica I think, introduced between a couple is good…”

Eamonn shocked fans when he announced that he and Ruth had been to a sex party.

Speaking on This Morning in 2016, he asked the White Lines star Angela Griffin: “Angela, your kids aren’t watching – have you ever been to one of those sex parties? We went to one.

“We were thrown out before anything happened. We went to the foreplay. We went to the preamble.

“We were filming for a series we were doing and my wife said: ‘Get out of here before anything starts. Get out.’

He added: “But you know what the interesting thing was? They were all wearing masks and things and we were filming.

“The organisers came up to us as we were leaving and said: ‘Oh, you can’t mention who you saw here.’

“I said: ‘Oh, well I didn’t see anyone.’ They said: ‘No, there’s someone who works in TV who says you know them. You know them and you have seen them here.’” lime

“Quality over quantity”

During an appearance of Loose Women in 2020, Eamonn admitted he’d be “grateful” wherever they had sex and that Ruth has a “night of the week” scheduled for their love life.

He said: “To me, it doesn’t really matter where it is, I’d just be grateful.

“Ruth’s very traditional, she has a time and a place for everything – a night of the week. She’s a creature of habit.”

To which Ruth chimed in with “quality over quantity.” With her husband joking: ‘I don’t think any man would put quality over quantity!’

Hip replacement

Eamonn needed a hip replacement in 2016, and he blamed Ruth and their saucy sex life for the operation. lime

He cheekily confessed to The Mirror: “I’m facing a two-week double hip operation, she wore them out, she’s got to help wear them in.”
