Ruth Langsford was left in tears after a cheeky slip-up from her QVC colleague live on air. The wife of Eamonn Holmes was laughing so hard that she said she couldn’t speak or look at Jackie Kabler.
It came as the pair tried to sell some new loafers on the shopping channel. Ruth told viewers that she had to be ‘very careful’ when speaking about the item due to a similar rude term.
She continued: “So we have continued with Snaffle Trim because we like it, which is derived from…”
Jackie then loudly announced ‘horse tackle’ rather than ‘horse tack’. As the pair fell about laughing and couldn’t keep the show going, Jackie apologised to viewers.
She said: “I’ve been trying so hard not to that I forgot which was the right word! I’m so sorry, I do apologise.” Ruth told viewers ‘I can’t speak’ as she tried to continue.
She was in fits of laughter as she said: “I can’t see now because I’m crying laughing.” Jackie and Ruth both said they couldn’t look at each other following the slip-up, as Ruth told her co-host: “It was the way you enunciated it, it was so beautiful.”
Ruth shared a clip of the moment on her Instagram page, as viewers reacted.
