Royal Family Reveals Shocking Reason Why Prince Louis Is Never Seen at Major Sports Events, While Princess Charlotte Goes to Wimbledon with Mom and Prince George Heads to Euro 2024 with Dad

EXCLUSIVE: Prince Louis often seems to miss out on exciting sporting events that his older siblings get to enjoy.

Prince Louis may seem to get a rough deal missing out on attending the world’s most famous sporting events, such as Wimbledon and Euro 2024, while his older siblings Prince George and Princess Charlotte get to go.

However there is a good reason for this, according to a royal commentator, with speculation rife as to whether any more royals will join Princess Anne in attending the 2024 Olympics in Paris.

Naturally age is a factor, as Louis is the youngest of Prince William and Princess Kate’s three children, but Richard Fitzwilliams believes there may be another reason related to the six-year-old’s cheeky antics.

He told Express.co.uk: “Obviously Prince George is chosen for certain events because of his age and status. Clearly Charlotte is also. Louis is the youngest and William and Catherine take care to keep a balance between the privacy which is essential and the obvious desire to see all their children.

“Also the younger the children are, the more likely they are to make a face and steal the show! The press love this, but it is a diversion from the main event.”

Mr Fitzwilliams added that we could soon see the Waleses in the French capital: “Catherine is unable to attend for health reasons but if there is an event which will feature the British team in the finals or one they feel a particular affinity for, we might see William and possibly George in Paris. It is likely to be informal if it happens.”

In spite of her ongoing cancer treatment Kate stepped out at Wimbledon earlier this month to watch the Men’s Singles Finals, bringing Charlotte with her.

It was only the second time she has been seen out in public this year, but as a devoted tennis fan the Princess of Wales made it to the Royal Box to see Carlos Alcaraz emerge victorious.

Meanwhile on the same day William and George jetted to Berlin to watch England play Spain in the Euro 2024 final, which sadly ended in a 2-1 defeat for the Three Lions.

Charlotte and Louis didn’t miss out though, as a picture shared on the Kensington Royal X page sweetly showed them watching the match at home wearing personalised football shirts.

Fortunately for all the Louis fans he will still appear with the rest of the Royal Family at events like Trooping the Colour, with his facial expressions on the balcony becoming iconic.

Prince Louis may be the son of the heir to the throne but in light of the slimmed-down monarchy he might not even be a working royal in the future.

Royal author Kate Williams told Hello! magazine about what Louis’ life could look like in years to come: “We understand that King Charles is aiming for a slimmed-down Royal Family, so it means [minor royals] may have to go and live in non-palaces. He doesn’t really live in Buckingham Palace at the moment, he’s renovating it and using it more as an office.

“And it will be interesting to see how Prince William might approach them if he still has children living with him. Maybe in the future we’ll see Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis getting a flat in Shoreditch together.”
