Football star Kyle Walker is living in an apartment outside of his family home with wife Annie Kilner following the ongoing Lauryn Goodman saga
Multi-millionaire footballer Kyle Walker has moved into an apartment as he attempts to navigate what the future holds for him and wife Annie Kilner.
Despite having their fourth child together recently and seemingly supporting him throughout the Euro 2024 competition, it seems that their marriage is still up in the air as they are still not living together fulltime.
Now, the Manchester City player, 34, has moved into residence in the CitySuites apartment block owned by his team.
Speaking to The Mirror, a source close to Kyle revealed that he has moved into the apartment due to work responsibilities.
The insider also revealed that he and Annie have enjoyed a great summer together, and are navigating how their future will unfold with their four children after Kyle also fathered two children with Celebs Go Dating star, Lauryn Goodman.
“Kyle is staying between the apartment and his house with Annie whilst training for football and working out what their relationship looks moving forward. They had a fantastic summer together, in Turkey and then in Abersoch, and have taken steps further in repairing their marriage but there is still work to do before Annie allows things to go back to normal,” the source told The Mirror.
It comes after a different source told The Sun: “He’s been staying at the club-owned apartments because he’s got nowhere else to go. He thought Annie would have him back after they shared family holidays, but she wouldn’t agree to it. He wanted to move some of his stuff back in but she blocked that too. They’re still trying to work things through.”
This comes after it was exposed that Kyle had fathered two children with his ex-mistress Lauryn, while he was married to Annie. And Annie only found out about the second child, a daughter, after Lauryn sent her a text message on December 27 saying: “Hey it’s Lauryn. I just wanted to quickly tell you that Kyle is the father of our daughter.”
The England star, who has an estimated fortune of £27million and owns two mansions, was recently in a court battle with Lauryn over child maintenance. Kyle had hoped that after his summer holiday with Annie following the Euros defeat against Spain, things were looking up. However, the source claims that staff at the family home turned his driver away when he turned up at the family residence with his belongings.
Since losing her court battle against Kyle, Lauryn broke her silence by issuing a statement to the Mirror. The reality TV star lost her court case over child maintenance – and the judge presiding over her case said she used Kyle as an “open-ended cheque book.”
Lauryn said she “tried her best for her children no matter what” and claimed that her two children will never have ” half of what their half-siblings have”, in reference to Kyle’s four children with Annie. In a statement Lauryn told the Mirror: “These have been difficult and stressful proceedings, which I had hoped would not be necessary. This has only ever been about the children and providing for their futures. I am a dedicated single mother and whilst my children will never have what their half siblings have, I have tried my best for my children and always will, no matter what.”
She added: “Thanks to my legal team and the judge’s decision, my children’s childhood is secure and I will now focus on building a solid future for them so as to provide for the time when the children’s home reverts back to their father. More than anything, I look forward to enjoying every moment with my children and the three of us being able get on with our lives.”
