Demi Moore is giving Mikey Madison the recognition she deserves!

After the 97th Academy Awards on Sunday, Demi Moore’s reaction to losing the Best Actress award went viral.

In the film, Moore portrays Elisabeth Sparkle, a TV superstar whose career plummets after turning 50. Desperate to regain her youth, she takes a magic drug that transforms her into a younger version of herself—but not without severe consequences.

On Monday, the veteran actress shared a video on Instagram documenting her Oscars preparation, expressing her gratitude for the journey. “I am so overwhelmed with gratitude for this experience,” Moore wrote. “It’s been the ride of a lifetime, and we’re just getting started.” She extended thanks to her team, the cast and crew of “The Substance,” her fellow nominees, and everyone who contributed to making the experience joyful.

Then, Moore turned the spotlight on Madison, who surprised many by winning the Best Actress award. “A huge congratulations to #MikeyMadison,” Moore wrote. “Can’t wait to see what you do next.”

Madison herself was visibly stunned when her name was announced as the winner at the star-studded ceremony held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. The young actress triumphed over a strong field of nominees, including Moore, Karla Sofia Gascón, Cynthia Erivo, and Fernanda Torres.
