Loose Women star Craig Doyle left fans DISAPPOINTED after defiantly challenging his critics following a fatal mistake on live TV.

Live television always comes with the risk of unscripted moments, and Loose Men host Craig Doyle found himself in one of those situations during a recent episode of the show.

The Irish presenter had to issue an on-air apology after accidentally swearing during a lighthearted discussion.

Craig Doyle’s Slip-Up on Live TV

The incident occurred during the special Loose Men edition of Loose Women, which aired on Wednesday, February 5.

The show, which features an all-male panel, is designed to shed light on men’s mental health and encourage open conversations on a variety of topics.

Doyle was joined on the panel by McFly’s Danny Jones, reality star Pete Wicks, and dancer Jordan Banjo.

During a discussion about a growing gym trend where men aim to build their glutes, the Irish presenter made an off-the-cuff remark that quickly caught him off guard.

“There’s one thing we Irish are blessed with, being Catholic and a huge a**e!” Doyle quipped.

Realizing his mistake almost immediately, he quickly corrected himself: “I am blessed with both! Huge bottom, sorry! Beep!” His attempt to backtrack was met with laughter from his fellow panelists, but he made sure to apologize to viewers for the unexpected slip.

A Lighthearted but Important Discussion

While Doyle’s blunder was a humorous moment, the Loose Men episode tackled several important discussions beyond gym culture. The panel covered topics such as romance, commitment, drinking habits, and tattoos, offering their own perspectives on these issues.

One of the standout moments came from The Only Way Is Essex star Pete Wicks, who opened up about his struggles with commitment.

“I’m the only one on the panel that’s not married with kids. I am probably well known for being a bit of a commitment-phobe, and I’ve never hidden that fact,” Wicks admitted.

He went on to challenge the stereotype that men are more likely to fear commitment than women.

“I think there are loads of different reasons why. I do think men are often described as being commitment-phobes and not as much women, but I do think that is rubbish. I’ve got to say I do think women are, I would say, just as bad, but I don’t necessarily see it as a bad thing either.”

Wicks also addressed the societal expectations that pressure people to marry and have children by a certain age, suggesting that not everyone needs to follow the same timeline in life.

The Importance of Loose Men

The Loose Men spin-off has gained recognition for breaking down taboos surrounding male mental health. By featuring candid conversations between well-known male celebrities, the show creates a platform where viewers can relate to their struggles and experiences.

In an industry where men’s emotional well-being is often overlooked, episodes like this one encourage more open discussions about topics such as vulnerability, relationships, and self-image.

Craig Doyle’s accidental swear word may have been an amusing mishap, but it served as a reminder that live television can be unpredictable. Fortunately, his quick recovery and lighthearted apology kept the show moving forward.

Final Thoughts

Live TV always carries the risk of unexpected moments, and Craig Doyle’s humorous slip-up was just another example of how spontaneous and unfiltered conversations can unfold. While his accidental swear word caught some viewers by surprise, it ultimately added to the relaxed and candid nature of Loose Men.

Beyond the laughs, the episode successfully tackled important discussions about relationships, societal pressures, and self-perception—reminding audiences that Loose Men is more than just a talk show; it’s a much-needed platform for men to openly share their thoughts and experiences.
