Linda Robson from Loose Women mocks Nadia Sawalha as ‘having breasts down to her knees’ after Nadia expressed her desire to breastfeed her granddaughter.

Loose Women star Linda Robson joked that her “boobs are down to her knees” as co-star Nadia Sawalha said she would breastfeed her grandchildren if she had any.

Loose Women’s Linda Robson humorously claimed her “boobs are down to her knees” while co-star Nadia Sawalha confessed she would consider breastfeeding her grandchildren.

On Thursday’s episode (July 18) of the popular ITV daytime show, viewers and the live studio audience were entertained by Charlene White, Judi Love, Nadia Sawalha and Linda Robson.

The panel kicked off with a discussion on whether they would ever consider breastfeeding.

Linda was firmly against the idea, citing difficulties feeding her own children.

Charlene initiated the conversation by asking: “Would you do that for your grandchildren?” To which Linda, 66, responded: “I’ve got no milk there and mine are practically on my knees now as well so no I can’t see how it’s going to work.”

Judi added: “My first initial thing is as soon as you think about someone else having their breast in your baby’s mouth, that’s the first thing that makes you have the ick but if it’s something medical or I had to do it for my grandchild then yeah because who else would be best,” reports the Mirror.

Nadia, however, was open to the idea, stating she would “definitely do it”. She revealed that she grew up witnessing her family members feed each other’s babies, saying: “I think in this country we are really scared around breastfeeding because my father is Jewish and I grew up seeing my cousins feed each other’s babies.”

Nadia went on to say: “If they were babysitting they would feed the other one’s baby and I didn’t think anything of it but then the rest of the world that’s the most disgusting thing ever so I do understand.”

“I would definitely do it If my grandchild is hungry,” Nadia confessed. “I do understand why people feel funny about it because you know when a baby cries and a mum might put their finger in their mouth.”

Before she could complete her thought, Charlene interjected: “I’m good with that, If it’s a family member then I’m good with them teething my child.”

She added: “But I think we have become a bit icky about the breastfeeding thing and yet we are not icky about giving children cow’s milk but we feel funny about giving them someone else’s.”

On the latest episode of Loose Women, Linda Robson and Nadia Sawalha sparked a humorous conversation about breastfeeding and whether they would be open to the idea of breastfeeding their grandchildren.
