Katie Price underwent a procedure on her face in Turkey recently and she’s continued to showcase the results in the weeks since then as part of updates to fans on social media
Former glamour model Katie Price has opened up about the surgery she underwent abroad just weeks ago as she shared some of her family’s reactions.
Katie, 46, underwent “facial correction” surgery in Turkey earlier this month and was seen sporting a supportive head mask when she landed back in the UK.
She has showcased the results of the procedure since her return home two weeks ago and was more recently spotted without any bandages on her face at a salon.
She has now shared details of the procedure itself and said that some of her family have been complimentary about the results. Her mother Amy Price and Katie’s daughter Princess Andre are said to be impressed.
Katie did a livestream on TikTok on Wednesday morning and among the topics covered by her included her recent surgery, according the Daily Mail. Addressing her the procedure, she told viewers: “I had fat taken from my own body and put in my cheeks and lips. Even my mum approves of my new face! Princess said I look a lot fresher.”
Her comments come following reports that some of her family have instead expressed concern over her numerous procedures over the years, including her mum Amy. It’s also been claimed that there’s been concern in the family amid her latest procedure, including from Princess.
It’s the latest update from Katie, who has posted about her recovery following the procedure in recent weeks. She returned to the UK from Turkey earlier this month but was greeted by cops at the aiport and arrested. It came after a judge had issued an arrest warrant for the former glamour model after she missed a court hearing on July 30.
Katie, who was first declared bankrupt back in 2019 and then for a second time in March this year, was later released on bail. She has since appeared remotely at a hearing in a specialist bankruptcy court and the reality TV star been given another court date of August 27.
She had previously stated that she wasn’t “not running from matters” and was “away working for a documentary on corrective surgeries”. She said after the news of the arrest warrant last month: “I have to continue in my work in order to satisfy these bankruptcy orders which is all I am trying to do right now. I am however not running from matters and will continue to take matters with great seriousness.”
Over the years, Katie has undergone several surgeries and has previously addressed criticism around that. As reported last year, she told OK! magazine once about her cosmetic efforts: “I’ll do what the hell I want, when I want. I only started having things done to my face in my 40s. When I was younger, I had my boobs done and my nose done, but that was it. I didn’t have any fillers or anything like that. […] Now I’m in my 40s, I will look and be as fake as I want to be.”
