The ongoing legal and public feud between Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively has now taken an unexpected turn,

with Baldoni’s father, Sam Baldoni, seemingly throwing shade at Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds.
On Wednesday, Sam reposted a TikTok video that featured a bulletin board with a pointed message: “In a world full of Blakes and Ryans, be a Justin.”
The post, originally shared by TikTok user @jennybenners, appeared to be a direct dig at the Hollywood power couple.

The board itself was a tribute to Justin Baldoni, highlighting various aspects of his career, including acting, directing, and writing.
It was also covered with words of praise, such as “compassionate,” “encouraging,” “introspective,” and “humble.”
Additionally, it featured quotes and poetry Baldoni has shared about women’s empowerment over the years.
Sam Baldoni added to the post by reposting it to his own Instagram account, placing a heart hands emoji over it—seemingly showing support for his son while subtly taking a jab at Lively and Reynolds.
Sam has long been a supporter of his son’s career, frequently accompanying Justin—along with his wife, Sharon Baldoni—to red carpet events. His recent social media activity, however, suggests that he is more than just a silent supporter in his son’s latest Hollywood feud.
Inside Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively’s Heated Battle
The ongoing clash between Baldoni and Lively has become one of the most talked-about legal battles in Hollywood. Their feud escalated after Lively filed a California civil rights complaint and later a federal lawsuit, accusing Baldoni of inappropriate behavior on set.
Lively’s allegations included claims that Baldoni had:
Entered her trailer while she was topless
Shown her a graphic video of his wife giving birth
Bit and sucked on her lips during an improvised kissing scene
She further accused him of launching a smear campaign against her when she pushed back against his alleged behavior. Her legal team even cited a text message from Baldoni’s publicist, Melissa Nathan, which reportedly read: “We can bury anyone.”
Lively’s accusations made global headlines, particularly after they were covered in a 4,000-word exposé published by a major news outlet.
Baldoni’s $400 Million Countersuit Against Lively and Reynolds
Baldoni did not take these accusations lightly. In response, he countersued Lively and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, for $400 million, alleging that they were orchestrating a deliberate attack on his reputation.
His lawsuit claims that:
Lively distorted the meaning of their past texts and emails
She and her Hollywood publicist, Leslie Sloane, worked behind the scenes to plant damaging stories about him in the press
The entire legal action was a ploy to help revive Lively’s image, which had taken a hit due to negative press surrounding her behavior at interviews and promotional events
Baldoni’s lawsuit also targeted The New York Times, which had extensively covered the allegations against him. He accused the publication of uncritically repeating Lively’s claims and disregarding evidence that contradicted her narrative.
In turn, The New York Times pushed back, arguing that they were simply reporting on a newsworthy controversy and that Baldoni’s defamation lawsuit was baseless.
This week, the newspaper scored a legal victory, as a judge ruled in favor of its request for a stay of discovery while its motion to be dismissed from the case is reviewed.
Baldoni Faces Separate Allegations About His Workplace Culture
Amid his legal battle with Lively, Baldoni is also facing scrutiny regarding the workplace culture at his production company, Wayfarer Studios.
A recent Los Angeles Times investigation quoted former employees who described the company as being filled with “toxic positivity.”
One ex-employee claimed:
“It was constant positivity all the time—I would say toxic positivity. I’m always a little dubious of people who advertise themselves as disruptors of the status quo or quote-unquote ‘good people.’ It felt phony.”
Others alleged that Wayfarer’s office culture was heavily influenced by the Bahá’í Faith, a spiritual belief system that Baldoni follows. Some former employees expressed discomfort with the “evangelizing aspect” of the discussions about faith at work.
Additionally, Baldoni was previously sued by a former Wayfarer executive, Shane Norman, who alleged that he was hired as a diversity hire but later terminated after raising concerns about racial disparities in the company.
Although the lawsuit was ultimately dismissed, reports claim that Norman received a $150,000 settlement to drop his claims.
Baldoni’s Supporters Defend His Actions
Despite the growing criticism, Baldoni still has loyal supporters who vouch for his character.
Filmmaker Christel Cornilsen, who became Wayfarer’s first female director, described a positive experience while working with Baldoni on a humanitarian project in Malawi.
“They risked a lot of money for humanitarian projects that they didn’t make back. That’s putting your money where your mouth is. There were always good intentions. A lot of corporations are phony. You have to measure the impact. Justin is generally a good egg,” Cornilsen said.
The Hollywood Feud Shows No Signs of Slowing Down
With multiple lawsuits, media scrutiny, and ongoing legal maneuvering, the battle between Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively remains one of the most high-profile conflicts in Hollywood right now.
As the situation unfolds, Baldoni’s father’s pointed social media post is just another sign that tensions are running high—and that the drama is far from over.
