Strictly Come Dancing star Janette Manrara has spilled the beans on not backing hubby Aljaz Skorjanec this season, due to her impartial role as host of It Takes Two.
Appearing on The One Show with Fleur East, Janette was probed by presenters Alex Scott and Roman Kemp about Aljaz’s comeback. Roman cheekily asked: “Janette, I know someone you’ll be cheering on. Aljaz, of course. Is it nice to see him back out there?”
Janette dropped a bombshell saying: “It is incredible to see him back on the show, but I’ll be honest, I am not allowed favourites as host of It Takes Two, so I’m going to be looking at him the same way as I look any other professional and celebrity on the show.”
She then gushed over their daughter, adding: “It is nice to have him on the telly.”

I had tears in my eyes because it was just so special to sit with our daughter, watching Daddy on the telly doing what he loves to do. It was amazing.”
The chat soon swerved towards the much-anticipated 20th-anniversary celebrations of Strictly, reports the Mirror, leading Alex Jones to probe: “Strictly, though it’s a special year, the 20th anniversary. What’s going to be happening? What’s the special surprises in store?”

And with a sly smile, Janette added: “I think watch this space. There’s definitely gonna be some new stuff.”
