No expense was spared as Phil Foden’s family made their way to Germany to watch the Euro 2024 final.
Travelling in style, the Foden clan hopped aboard their own private jet with the midfielder’s son Ronnie looking very at home.
With his trainer-clad feet resting up on a singular leather seat.
This year the England WAGs and their children have been jetting back and forth for each of England’s crunch games on a fleet of exclusive planes.
Foden’s wife Rebecca and her family joined the descent on Berlin as the crowds continue to gather ahead of tonight’s 8pm clash against Spain.
The tournament has been particularly dramatic for the Fodens with the couple welcoming their third child ahead of England’s showdown with Slovakia.
Man City’s Phil, who is also dad to Ronnie and two-year-old daughter True, caused alarm when he suddenly flew back to England to be with Rebecca before immediately hopping on a plane straight back to Germany to continue on with England’s international campaign after the birth.
Earlier on Sunday, Mum Rebecca, who manages Ronnie’s lucrative Instagram page which boasts four million followers, gave fans an insight into her other preparations for the final on Sunday. First sharing a snap of Ronnie in the barber’s chair to get a trim that matched his dad’s. She then unveiled the adorable England-themed dress her daughter True will be wearing later today.
The doting mum revealed she had designed the dress from scratch herself after sending sketches to a local dressmaker.
England go into the clash at the Olympiastadion having reached back-to-back Euro finals for the first time but are underdogs against a Spanish side who have been arguably the team of the tournament.
After criticism and unrest over England’s performances in the group stage and last-16 extra-time win over Slovakia, manager Gareth Southgate has slowly steered his team into calmer waters as displays improve and individual brilliance starts to shine.
Having lost the Euro 2020 final on penalties to Italy, England have secured consecutive appearances in the continental showpiece while also reaching just their third major final – and first away from Wembley.
Speaking about the importance of the match at a press conference this weekend, Declan rice said: “Back-to-back finals, that’s history in itself, first time on foreign soil? It’s another bit of history, but the real history that we want is to lift that trophy.
“I can assure you now we’re going to give it absolutely everything and there’s going to be nothing left in that changing room come Sunday when we go out and perform.
“Back-to-back finals, that just in itself is enough for now, for us to go out there and just think ‘what have we got to lose?’
“We’re all here. We only get one career. You never want to look back and think, ‘I wish I’d have just done that’, or wish I’d have give a little bit more.
“I feel like now is the time that we give everything and we show that we are England.”
