Hannah Waddingham was branded a ‘national treasure’ after impressing British Grand Prix viewers with her performance of the National Anthem at Silverstone on Sunday. 

The singer, 49, looked nothing short of sensational as she took to the stage ahead of the race in a chic white gown.

Hannah showcased her powerful vocals while being watched by millions around the world, with some joking Hannah had now found her ‘job for life’. 

Racing to X fans gushed: ‘Never thought I’d be emotional over the British National Anthem but Hannah Waddingham is capable of amazing things’. 

“This is brilliant and makes me very proud! No one should sing our National Anthem at sporting events except Hannah Waddingham. She’s a national treasure and deserves a job for life.”

Brad Pitt arrived at the race with his stunning girlfriend Ines de Ramon, as they joined the likes of Geri Horner, Gordon Ramsay and his daughter Holly at the racing event.

The actor, 60, looked loved-up with the beauty, 31, as they commanded attention while walking around the paddock.

Ines looked incredible in a floaty light blue dress and boots, while Brad stood out from the crowd in a yellow jacket and quirky bucket hat. 

The racing extravaganza was four days long this year, attracting a slew of famous faces who were keen to watch all the fast-paced action.

Elsewhere Spice Girl Geri, 51, supported husband Christian, 50, and his Red Bull team as the couple attempt to move on from his recent sexting scandal. 

Horner was accused of sending intimate texts to a female employee, but has since been cleared of wrongdoing following an internal investigation at Red Bull into ‘coercive behaviour’ towards the colleague. 

The couple were joined by daughter Bluebell, son Montague and step-daughter Olivia as they posed for photos while mingling in the paddock ahead of Sunday’s race.  

Brad and Ines were first linked in November 2022 after they were spotted at a Bono concert.

Ines and Paul finalised their divorce earlier this month. 

Brad took her to the premiere of his film Babylon in December 2022. They then spent his birthday and New Year’s Eve together before taking a trip to Paris.

Brad also attended the Santa Barbara International Film Festival with Ines in early February.

The actor attended the film festival to help honour his pal Bradley Cooper with the outstanding Performer of the Year award.

Brad and Ines were seated next to each other at the event – which took place at Arlington Theater – as seen in Hello! magazine.

According to Hello! Ines had her hand on Brad’s thigh for most of the event, with the couple laughing and chatting with each other.

A source told People: ‘He seemed to be in very good spirits onstage when he presented the award to Bradley and poked fun at his friend, joking that he was just here for the free trip to Santa Barbara.’

One week later, it was revealed that Brad and Ines were living together at the actor’s home.

‘It’s pretty recent. They are going very strong and she is happier than ever,’ a People insider said, adding that she still has her place as well. 

Though he is known for his laid-back public persona, Pitt has previously been accused of volatile behavior by ex-wife Angelina Jolie, 49.

The star’s new blockbuster, which will be called F1, will be co-produced by Lewis Hamilton. 

After filming for the movie was delayed amid the US actors’ and writers’ strike last year, Brad will race an adapted Formula Two car between practice sessions this weekend as they make a start on the action scenes. 

F1 chiefs are hoping the film – which will be released on June 25 next year – will follow the popularity of Netflix’s Drive to Survive series with a teaser is set to be released ahead of Sunday’s race. 

Brad plays the role of a veteran driver Sonny Hayes, who is returning to the F1 grid after a long absence.

Alongside his fictional rookie team-mate Joshua Pierce – played by British actor Damson Idris – the Fight Club star lined up with the sport’s 20 drivers prior to last year’s race at Silverstone and the two actors are due to be on the grid again ahead of Sunday’s event.

A garage has also been set up in the paddock at Silverstone for the ’11th team’, called APXGP.
