The TV chef and his wife Tana posed alongside the former Strictly star in a picture to accompany the happy news
Gordon Ramsay has spoken about his joy at daughter Tilly’s latest news, calling himself “the happiest dad in the world” as he and wife Tana posed alongside the 22-year-old.
The famously sweary chef swapped expletives for praise as the social media influencer, a Strictly Come Dancing star in 2021, celebrated a major milestone.
She appeared with her parents after graduating with a top degree, wearing a black gown and mortarboard, and holding her certificate in a red tube.
Among the well-wishers at the happy news were David Beckham and I’m A Celebrity star Fred Sirieix, who starred alongside the top chef in his Gordon, Gino and Fred TV series.
Hell’s Kitchen star Gordon, 57, who looked more delighted than anyone else in the shot, posted the snap on social media and revealed the subject she’s been studying, telling his followers: “She’s Done it!
“Can’t explain enough how proud we are of this one honestly with everything you’ve been up against and to see you graduate today with a psychology BSc makes me the happiest Dad in the World congratulations darling well done Tilly.”
David Beckham was among one of the first to comment, writing: “Well done Tilly we are so so proud.” Bear Grylls added: “Well done!!!” while food presenter Big Zuu said simply: “Congrats!”
Former Strictly star Tilly is one of dad Gordon’s six children with her mum Tana, 49. They also have Megan, 26, twins Holly and Jack, both 24, Oscar, five, and baby Jesse, who is one.
She revealed last year that she was dating Henry Farrow, despite persistent rumours linking her to her Strictly dance partner pro Nikita Kuzmin during her time on the show.
The pair went public with their romance on Valentine’s Day with a snap where he had his arm around her and the pair were surrounded by cupcakes. She captioned it simply: “Happy Valentine’s Day.”
However, it was Gordon who managed to get the information she was dating somebody out of her publicly, during a grilling on a charity special of Celebrity Gogglebox they both appeared on where he pressed her saying: ‘Have you got a boyfriend? Yes or no, Matilda.”
Embarrassed and seemingly trying to avoid the question, he concluded by speaking on her behalf and saying: “Yes! She’s got a boyfriend. Finally.”
