Georgia Horsley, wife of Danny Jones, turns down a massive offer from Celebrity Big Brother following Maura Higgins’ cheating controversy, stating, “I’m handling this my own way. No one step in.”

Georgia Horsley has reportedly turned down a significant offer to participate in the upcoming

series of Celebrity Big Brother, following the recent turmoil in her marriage to McFly’s Danny Jones. The former Miss England had been in early discussions about appearing on the reality show, but she ultimately decided against it. Sources close to Georgia reveal that she

was approached following the release of footage showing her husband, Danny, sharing an

intimate moment with I’m A Celebrity star Maura Higgins at a BRITs afterparty earlier this month. Show executives were eager for Georgia to share her side of the story and potentially discuss the status of her relationship, but insiders say the mother-of-one has no desire to make her private struggles public.

An industry source revealed, “She’s heartbroken, but she’s dealing with it in her own way, away from the cameras and headlines. Georgia has always been someone who prefers to keep personal matters private, and she strongly believes that some things should remain behind closed doors. Right now, her main priority is her son Cooper, and she wants to make decisions based on what’s best for him rather than succumbing to external pressures.”

ITV reportedly held meetings with Georgia’s team to discuss the possibility of her appearing on the show, with insiders claiming she was offered a lucrative six-figure sum to take part. Despite the tempting offer, she ultimately decided to step back from the spotlight. Since the scandal broke, Georgia has been lying low and even canceled a scheduled public appearance at The Baby Show, where she was due to host a live podcast for Mum’s The Word alongside her co-host Kelsey Parker.

“A lot of media outlets and television producers have reached out, hoping she would speak out or give interviews, but that’s just not who Georgia is,” a source explained. “She has no interest in turning this situation into a public spectacle. Her focus is on whether her marriage can be saved, but she intends to figure that out privately and on her own terms.”

The controversy began when Danny and Maura were spotted in the early hours of March 2 at the Universal afterparty. In the footage, Maura can be seen giving Danny a couple of pecks before he leans in and kisses her on the lips. Neither party has publicly commented on the incident, leaving speculation swirling about the state of Danny and Georgia’s marriage.

Despite the tension and public scrutiny, those close to the couple insist that they are working hard to repair their relationship. The couple, who have been together since 2009 and married since 2014, are determined to work through their issues. “They are very much still together and are committed to figuring things out,” said an insider. “Georgia still respects Danny and doesn’t want to make this situation any messier than it already is. She’s upset and hurt, but she’s keeping it all within her inner circle. She wants to deal with this quietly and focus on making the best decisions for herself and Cooper, not based on public opinion.”

Unlike many in the entertainment industry, Georgia values her privacy and is determined not to turn her personal struggles into a media circus. “She won’t do reality TV, she won’t do tell-all interviews—she just wants to handle this in the way that feels right for her and her family. The last thing she wants is for this to turn into a spectacle,” the source added.

In recent days, Georgia and Danny have made an effort to maintain a united front. The couple was spotted taking a walk together earlier this week, appearing to put on a show of solidarity despite the ongoing speculation about their marriage.

Meanwhile, Celebrity Big Brother producers have been actively pursuing high-profile contestants for the upcoming season, which is set to air on April 7. Alongside Georgia, other potential housemates rumored to be in talks include Coronation Street star Jack P. Shepherd, Olympic legend Daley Thompson, Love Island alum Chris Hughes, TOWIE’s Ella Rae Wise, and former EastEnders actor James Bye. While Georgia ultimately declined the offer, the show is still expected to deliver plenty of drama with its star-studded lineup.
