French Pole Vaulter Anthony Ammirati Breaks Silence with Hilarious TikTok After Olympic Flop: ‘You Make More Buzz for Your Package Than Your Performances!’

Anthony Ammirati failed to make the final in the pole vault at the Paris 2024 Olympics after his manhood unfortunately knocked the bar off in the group stage, leading to a viral sensation

French pole vaulter Anthony Ammirati has finally cracked a smile after his manhood inadvertently knocking him out of the Paris 2024 Olympics, becoming a viral sensation.

The 21-year-old athlete didn’t advance to the finals after his private parts knocked the bar during a crucial vault in the group stage.

This incident sparked a flurry of jokes and memes that both celebrated and poked fun at the ex-under-20 world champ.

Initially too gutted to see the humour, Ammirati has now joined in on the laughs with a tongue-in-cheek TikTok video mocking the odd end to his Olympic debut.

His post read: “POV [point of view]: You make more buzz for your package than for your performances,” as he appeared on camera with a deadpan look, seemingly lost in thought about the slip-up days after the event.

This is the first time Ammirati has publicly poked fun at his Olympic blunder on social media. The day following his unexpected exit, he had shared his disappointment in a more reflective tone, reports the Mirror.

“It’s a big disappointment,” he confessed to the French Athletics Federation. “I’m a bit gutted, because I didn’t miss anything on the third attempt at 5.70 m. What I did miss was a bit of jumping in training to fine-tune the settings. Just a technical session.

“I was 100% physically, but I was missing a bit of pole vault. The conditions were good. It’s the first time I’ve started a competition without any stress. As I was a total outsider, I only had one goal: to interact with the audience. I was almost there.”

Meanwhile, Sweden’s sensation Mondo Duplantis shattered records by soaring to an astonishing 6.25m win.

Anthony Ammirati may have not made it to the finals in the pole vault at the Paris 2024 Olympics, but his unexpected exit has certainly left a lasting impression on viewers worldwide. Despite the initial disappointment of his manhood knocking the bar off during a crucial vault, Ammirati has embraced the humor surrounding the incident and even took to TikTok to join in on the joke.In a recent post on his social media, Ammirati shared a POV video with a deadpan look, acknowledging the fact that his package has garnered more attention than his actual performance at the Olympics. The viral sensation has certainly taken a lighthearted approach to the situation, showing that he is able to laugh at himself and not take things too seriously. While Ammirati may have missed out on a spot in the finals, his sportsmanship and ability to find humor in a less than ideal situation has earned him respect from fans and fellow athletes alike. It’s clear that he is not letting this setback define him, but instead using it as an opportunity to connect with his audience in a new and relatable way.On the other hand, Sweden’s Mondo Duplantis stole the show with a record-breaking 6.25m jump, solidifying his reputation as a pole vaulting phenomenon. While Duplantis’s success may have overshadowed Ammirati’s unexpected exit, it’s important to acknowledge the achievements of all athletes who competed at the Paris 2024 Olympics. In the world of sports, unexpected moments like these remind us of the unpredictable nature of competition and the importance of resilience in the face of setbacks. While Ammirati may not have achieved the results he had hoped for, his ability to find humor and humility in the situation is a victory in itself. As we continue to follow the journey of athletes like Anthony Ammirati and Mondo Duplantis, let’s remember that sports is not just about winning or losing, but about the moments of strength, vulnerability, and humor that make it a truly human experience.
