Argentine police shocked the public by releasing a wave of information about “suspects” tied to Liam Payne’s p.a.s.s.i.n.g, leaving social media in UPROAR: “It’s unbelievable he was betr@yed like this…”

The tragic death of musician Liam Payne in October 2024 has led to a series of arrests and charges involving multiple individuals,

as authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding his fall from a third-floor balcony at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires.

Payne, 31, was found dead after the incident, prompting an intense investigation into his final moments.

Autopsy and Toxicology Report Reveals Disturbing Details

A preliminary autopsy revealed that Payne’s cause of death was due to “multiple traumas,” including hemorrhages in his chest, skull, and abdomen.

The report also disclosed that a partial autopsy found a mixture of dangerous substances in his system, including “pink cocaine”—a potent blend of methamphetamine, ketamine, and MDMA—as well as cocaine, benzodiazepine, and crack.

These findings have raised numerous questions about the events leading up to Payne’s untimely passing.

Investigation Unfolds and Charges Are Filed

Following Payne’s death, a thorough investigation was launched, which involved multiple searches of the CasaSur Palermo Hotel. In November 2024, prosecutors charged three individuals—whose identities were initially kept anonymous—with abandonment leading to death and the supply and facilitation of narcotics. The suspects reportedly included one of Payne’s companions, a hotel employee, and a narcotics supplier. The prosecutor overseeing the case, Andrés Esteban Madrea, requested that these individuals provide depositions and be arrested.

By December 2024, local media outlets reported that five individuals had been charged in connection with Payne’s death. Among those charged was Roger Nores, a close friend of Payne’s, who faced manslaughter charges. Additionally, two employees of the hotel, Esteban Grassi and Gilda Martin, were implicated in the case, along with Braian Nahuel Paiz, a waiter, and Ezequiel Pereyra, another CasaSur employee, both of whom were accused of supplying drugs to Payne before his death.

The Individuals Charged in Connection to Payne’s Death

Here’s a breakdown of those charged in the case and their current status:

Braian Nahuel Paiz Initially, Paiz was identified as a key suspect in the case. Paiz, a waiter at the restaurant where Payne dined prior to his death, was accused of supplying drugs to the musician. Paiz denied the allegations, claiming that when he first met Payne, the singer was already under the influence of drugs and did not consume any food during their meeting. The two reportedly spent time together on another occasion, but Paiz insists that he never provided drugs to Payne or accepted money for them.

In an interview with Argentina’s Telefe Noticias in November 2024, Paiz said, “We took drugs together, but I never took drugs to him or accepted any money.” He also expressed his willingness to cooperate with authorities, offering to share his phone and other information to aid the investigation. In December 2024, Paiz was officially charged with supplying drugs to Payne. By January 2025, he was arrested and could face a prison sentence ranging from four to 15 years.

Ezequiel Pereyra Pereyra, a CasaSur employee, was also charged with allegedly supplying drugs to Payne before his death. Pereyra was arrested in January 2025, nearly one week after Paiz, as part of the ongoing investigation.

Roger Nores Roger Nores, Payne’s close friend, has been charged with manslaughter for allegedly abandoning the singer ahead of his death. Nores has adamantly denied these allegations, stating that he visited Payne at the hotel three times on the day of the incident and left the hotel just 40 minutes before the fatal fall. He also emphasized that Payne was in the company of over 15 people in the hotel lobby when Nores left, making it unimaginable for him to have foreseen the tragedy.

In December 2024, Nores testified about Payne’s ongoing struggles with addiction, revealing that despite attending rehab centers, Payne’s substance abuse worsened, and he began using harder drugs like heroin. While Nores has been charged with manslaughter, he has not been arrested as of yet.

The Legal Process Moves Forward

As the investigation continues, the case remains a source of heartbreak for Payne’s family, friends, and fans. The legal process is now underway, and all five individuals charged in connection to his death have been summoned to appear in court. The authorities are working diligently to uncover the full extent of what happened in the moments leading up to Liam Payne’s tragic passing. With multiple people facing serious charges, the outcome of this case is poised to unfold in the coming months.
