Love Island’s Casey O’Gorman has opened up about the shocking moment he passed out in the villa just before the final, following an unexpected injury.

The 28-year-old reality star, who emerged as the winner of Love Island: All Stars alongside Gabby Allen, revealed the details of the incident during a Q&A session on Instagram.
Fans were eager to know what had happened after reports surfaced that he had sustained a head injury and had to take a break from filming.
One curious follower asked: “We need a story time of the pass-out incident.” In response, Casey posted a selfie, showcasing what appeared to be a cut on his forehead.
He explained that he had accidentally hit his head on a wardrobe handle while packing his suitcase.
The injury resulted in heavy bleeding, and due to his aversion to blood, he ended up fainting.
“Right okay!! So I was packing my suitcase and hit my head very hard on the wardrobe handle. Started bleeding quite badly and I’m awful with blood … so then passed out from all the blood. But I’m all okay! Didn’t need stitches and I never got rushed to hospital,” Casey clarified.
He further elaborated on Snapchat, sharing another photo of his injury. “For those wondering, I walked into a wardrobe while packing my suitcase before the final. Cut my head open and then passed out because I can’t deal with blood,” he explained.
Despite the ordeal, Casey quickly recovered and went on to secure the All Stars win with Gabby. Their victory was announced by host Maya Jama during the live final on Monday night. They triumphed over runners-up Grace Jackson and Luca Bish to claim the title.
Following the final, Casey expressed his gratitude to fans in an emotional message. “Thank you EVERYONE for the support, it honestly means the world, and we’re still in disbelief. Thank you most importantly to my best mate [Tom]—you are one of a kind. Now you can log out of my account,” he wrote, referring to his friend Tom Clare, who won the first series of the show alongside Molly Smith.
Gabby also shared her excitement, posting: “GUESS WHO’S BACK. Ahhhh, I can’t put into words how shocked, happy, grateful & overwhelmed I feel right now!”
She added, “We can’t thank you enough for voting for us as your winners, it means the world to us, and we’re eternally grateful. What an amazing experience, and I found what I was looking for [Casey].”
Despite his minor injury scare, Casey was able to enjoy the final days of his Love Island experience and celebrate his win with Gabby, marking the end of a memorable journey on the All Stars season.
