Naga Munchetty was forced to warn Matt Tubbutt “You may not like it,” after he opened up about his show on BBC Breakfast.
BBC Breakfast’s Naga Munchetty issued a brutal dig at TV chef Matt Tebbutt as he lifted the lid on his show, Saturday Kitchen Live.
The presenter returned to the famed red sofa alongside her co-host Charlie Stayt and briefly spoke to the chef about his cooking show and the guests to look forward to.
After introducing Kit Harrington and Olivia Washington as his celebrity guest, the Game of Thrones star revealed Banoffee Pie was his favourite dish.
Naga admitted: “You’ve sparked a debate about Banoffee here,” and after hesitating she revealed: “I hate it, I don’t like it,” to which Charlie agreed: “It’s not for me.”
He added: “It isn’t for me to be fair but i’m happy for those people who love it.”
Naga told the chef: “Just a warning, you may not like it,” to which Matt hit back: “It’s not all about you too, it’s about Kit Harrington.”
However, the 49-year-old continued responded: “Well it is now because we’re going to say goodbye to you. It can be all about you at 10, see you.”
They all laughed as a defeated Matt waved goodbye and added: “Alright, bye see you.”
Naga had warned the American actress who admitted she’d never tried the British dessert pie as she questioned: “What is that?”
Kit who seemed certain he would be served his food heaven told his co-star: “You’ll try it later.”
This comes after Naga issued a precious dig at Matt as they often share back and-forths during his short segments on BBC Breakfast.
One interesting aspect of Saturday Kitchen Live is the unpredictable nature of live television. Matt Tebbutt revealed that there are often unexpected moments and surprises that make each episode unique and exciting for both viewers and guests.
Despite their differing opinions on Banoffee Pie, Naga, Charlie, and Matt always manage to find humor in their conversations. Their dynamic on-screen chemistry keeps the audience entertained and coming back for more each day.
It’s no surprise that Naga admitted she’s not a fan of Banoffee Pie, as everyone has different tastes when it comes to dessert. While some may love the combination of bananas, toffee, and whipped cream, others may prefer a different sweet treat.
Naga and Matt’s playful banter on BBC Breakfast is always a highlight for viewers. Their friendly exchanges and witty comments add a lighthearted touch to the morning show, keeping audiences entertained and engaged.
