Emily Atack prepares to welcome baby Barney with her boyfriend, revealing readiness for “a new role” in the future that excites fans (video)

EMILY Atack looked the picture of happiness as she stepped out with her newborn son Barney this week.

The  34-year-old and partner Dr Alistair Garner welcomed their first child last month and have been enjoying every minute of the baby bubble.

The loved-up couple enjoyed a drink in the sun in North London , with Emily cradling their little one.

Looking very stylish, Emily wore a black maxi dress, with her hair piled on her head in a bun.

She was seen feeding her little one from a bottle as she enjoyed her own drink.

Showing just how happy they are, the couple held hands over the table and Emily was spotted laughing at one point.

Alistair could then be seen helping her and their little one into the car home.

Emily announced she had welcomed a boy in June with  a sweet post.

She said: “We have a beautiful son. Barney James Garner. All my dreams have come true”

The post featured a sweet black and white snap of Emily with Alistair and their new arrival lying on Emily’s chest.

Making change

When the actress revealed she was having a baby boy, she said she hoped he will benefit from her campaign to change the law around sexual consent.

Emily has bravely called for the law to recognise “affirmative consent”, which means both people have to say yes before sex.

“I want him to be a part of a really positive change,” she told BBC Breakfast.

“It starts with education… we need to have these conversations.”
