The apartment boasts a number of luxurious features including a golf simulator, swimming pool, and private cabanas.
King Charles was listed as the buyer of a £5.4million stunning luxury three-bedroom apartment on Billionaire’s Row in New York City, and pictures offer a glimpse of the property.
The property’s deed shows that the property was bought in July by “King Charles in Right of Canada, Represented by the Minister of Foreign Affairs.”
The document was signed by Robert McCubbing, the senior trade commissioner and director of trade and investment at the Consulate General of Canada in New York.
The apartment is complete with a golf simulator, swimming pool, and private cabanas.
It turns out that the Canadian government was behind the purchase, attaching King Charles’ name because the property will be used as an official residence for Canada’s consul general in New York.
As Canada is a part of the Commonwealth, King Charles is the country’s head of state.
Images of the 3,600sq ft property, located on 111 West 57th Street, show regal furniture and decor alongside a huge swimming pool.
Canada got a good deal for the property, as the asking price was up at £8.3million just two years ago.
