Katie Price’s latest £10,000 facelift could leave her with serious side effects including the appearance of a stroke it’s been claimed.
The former glamour model, 46, jetted off to Turkey last month for her sixth facelift.
After being turned down in 2022 by her former surgeon Dr Jeya Prakash amid fears she was addicted to cosmetic surgery.
Recalling her visiting his office in 2022 he told The Mirror: ‘I said she doesn’t need a facelift.
Then she went to other places where people didn’t look after her health, they looked after her image. Health is very important.’
Meanwhile fellow Dr Julien De Silva said: Each surgery carries a further risk or more noticeable scars and other complications.
Including stretching a motor nerve (known as temporary facial asymmetry, with the appearance of a stroke) as well as common complications such as haematomas (the pooling of blood under the skin).
Katie’s former surgeon Dr Prakash revealed that he’d known the CBB winner since 1996 when he performed her first and second breast augmentations, before she returned for even bigger breasts.
Telling the publication: ‘[By the third time] I said no, because she seemed to have an addiction to surgery with what she wanted to do. She’s a small, petite lady. I always tell her that a squirrel shouldn’t have elephant breasts.’
MailOnline have contacted Katie’s reps for comment.
Katie’s long history of going under the knife also include rhinoplasty, veneers, and 16 boob jobs.
Yet In 2021 she insisted she was not addicted to cosmetic surgery and ‘doesn’t want to look like a freak’.
Speaking about her decision to go under the knife so many times, she told GMB: It’s like a car – you have an MOT. If you get a scratch or a dent, you fix it, and that’s how I feel with my body.
‘I’m not trying to look younger and I definitely don’t want that alien look – when people go over the top and look like freaks.
‘Having surgery isn’t fun and games, it is painful and it’s irreversible… Everyone’s got imperfections, I could go over the top but I don’t want to look like a freak.
‘I’m not addicted, but if people want to say I’ve got body dysmorphia, just say it, even my mum says it, “You need to see somebody, you’re not normal in the head, are you?”.
It comes after Katie said she ‘looks like Spock’ as she poked fun at herself after undergoing her latest surgery in Turkey, despite a warrant being out for her arrest as part of her £760,000 bankruptcy case.
Showing off the results, ten days post-procedure, the media personality admitted that while she was ‘happy with her new face’, she did need ‘to sort her eyebrows.’
After receiving a few comments, about her face lift, Katie explained: ‘I had fat taken from my own body and put in my cheeks and lips. Even my mum approves of my new face! Princess said I look a lot fresher.’
The model continued: ‘I look plastic because I am plastic, at least I tell you all what I’ve done.
‘Whenever I come on here I always get the odd t*** that says, “you look stretched,” it’s boring!’
‘I do need to sort my brows out, I look like Spock from star trek, so if you know anyone who can fix these, let me know.
‘It doesn’t matter what any of you say to me, you will not put me down. I’ve come a very long way from a place of darkness and depression. I know me and I’ve worked so hard to get to where I am.’
‘I am just here to give love. People who put people down you’ve obviously got issues yourself. It’s taken time but I’ve got there. You have to want to get help.’
Sharing a selfie to her Instagram Story afterwards, Katie showed her eyebrows and asked: ‘Can anybody help me reshape and redo my eyebrows or start them again please DM.’
