Katie Price claps back at online critics of her ‘crazy’ plastic surgeries: ‘It’s a display of my self-love; you have no right to judge!’

Katie Price hit out at her critics using her fellow lover of cosmetic surgery, Cher, to tell them to mind their own business about what she does to her body

Katie Price has slammed negative comments about her appearance after her latest round of plastic surgery.

The glamour model posted a video clip of Cher to hit back at her haters just weeks after she returned from Turkey following her new facelift. Katie, 46, has been showing off the results of the procedure on her social media and has refused to rule out further operations despite having undergone an array of procedures including 17 boob jobs, two nose jobs, an eye and a lip lift.

Katie poked fun at her critics as she posted the footage of Cher, 78, being asked about her own cosmetic work during an ABC interview with Cynthia McFadden in 2002.

She was asked: “You have had work done on your face?” Cher then replied: “Yeah but, you know, it’s not anything that I haven’t ever said.”

Cynthia then asked: “Do you feel you’ve gone too far?” to which Cher retorted: “No. If I wanna put my t**s on my back, it’s nobody’s business but my own.” Cher has previously admitted to undergoing a breast augmentation, a rhinoplasty, veneers and a facelift.

She has also been subjected to rumours of several other procedures throughout her career that she has denied including rib removal surgery and cheek implants. Katie expressed her feelings of empathy with Cher as she wrote on the clip: “Exactly well said.”

The post comes after Professor of facial plastic surgery Ullas Raghavan, from Pall Mall Medical, revealed to the Mirror the harsh realities and potential dangers associated with the pursuit of physical perfection.

“Undergoing procedures like breast augmentation, tummy tucks, nose jobs or facelifts abroad might seem appealing, but can complicate your recovery,” he explained. “While not all are life threatening, we are seeing a rise in botched procedures that present patients with difficult outcomes.

“In almost every clinic, I encounter someone whose procedure was botched abroad. There are also numerous complications that can arise from overseas surgeries. For starters, the heat can cause excessive sweating, which isn’t ideal for healing. Moisture can interfere with the healing process and increase the risk of infection, as bacteria thrive in warm, damp environments.

“Additionally, heat can exacerbate swelling and discomfort, prolonging recovery. Dehydration from hot climates can further delay healing and increase pain. If you’re planning surgery in a warm location, it’s crucial to stay cool, hydrated, and avoid excessive sun exposure to support a smooth recovery.”

He warned of the importance of post-operative care, adding: “One of the major concerns is the challenge of getting proper follow-up care or revisions if the surgery goes wrong. Follow-up appointments are critical for monitoring your recovery and addressing any issues early on.

Katie has undergone numerous cosmetic surgeries in the past and has previously admitted she thinks she struggles with body dysmorphia. She said, last month: “I’m not content now, I’m having more surgery next week. My mum says I’ve got body dysmorphia. I don’t think I ever look in the mirror and think I look good. I ne never have done so there’s obviously an underlying issue.”
