The 64 year old GB News anchor, who announced his split from former wife Ruth Langsford, also aged 64, in May, has been linked to relationship therapist Katie Alexander, 42, shortly after parting ways with Ruth.
However, it seems there’s already tension brewing, as a source disclosed that the pair have clashed over a significant matter. MailOnline reports that Katie is eager to make their relationship official to the public.
Yet, an insider suggests Eamonn is hesitant about going public too soon, out of consideration for his ex-wife’s feelings.
The source informed the publication that as a result, the couple’s outings are confined to Eamonn’s new Richmond flat.
The insider shared with the news outlet: “Katie wants the world to see they’re a couple but Eamonn is keeping things low-key at the moment. It’s pretty hot in [his apartment] because he has no air-con so she’d love to go out and enjoy dates in public.”, reports the Daily Star.
“Eamonn is excited about their relationship but he wants to remain respectful by not going public yet.”

The once golden couple, who tied the knot at The Elvetham in Hampshire on June 26, 2010, announced their split with a detailed statement back in May. They are doting parents to their 22 year old son Jack.
Eamonn also has three grown-up children from his previous relationship: Declan, 35, Rebecca, 32, and Niall, 30.
Post-divorce, Holmes found solace in a therapist who was seen at the presenter’s new London residence. She was spotted mingling with the broadcaster on several occasions after they met via Twitter back in 2015.
The plot thickened when Katie was seen sporting a diamond ring on her wedding finger. This sparked unfounded rumours that the pair were engaged.
However, sources close to the duo later debunked these reports. Despite the denial, the news allegedly still sent ripples through Ruth.
The Loose Women host was reportedly ’embarrassed’ by the entire situation and there were even ‘tears’. An insider told OK! at the time: “Ruth has been trying her best to be respectful to Eamonn for the sake of both their families and especially Jack.”
“She is still wearing her wedding ring and doesn’t feel right taking it off at the moment and she wanted to be as respectful as possible and does want to invite any more speculation about their situation.”
