Good Morning Britain saw a shake-up in its presenters on Tuesday as Richard Madeley and Trisha Goddard fronted the programme
Good Morning Britain’s Marvarine Cole delivered a “breaking news” update on Tuesday morning.
Before sharing the breaking news, Richard Madeley told viewers about what was coming up on the show.
“Thank you very much indeed. We are going to be speaking live with Emma Webber, that is Barnaby’s mother after 8am. But for now, here is Marvarine with the news..”
As Trisha Goddard and Richard turned to their colleague, Marvarine took a brief pause and then informed viewers: “Good morning, we start with some breaking news.”
She went on to say: “The Metropolitan Police have charged Ioan Pintaru with the attempted murder of an 11-year-old girl, who was stabbed in London’s Leicester Square.
“Authorities have praised security guard Abdullah., whose bravery disarmed the 32-year-old knifeman and the force confirmed the girl’s injuries are not life-threatening,” reports the Mirror.

It was initially believed that the girl’s mother, a 34-year-old woman, was also hurt, but it was later confirmed that blood from her daughter’s injuries had been mistaken for injuries of her own.
