Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were brutally savaged by a royal commentator who claimed their latest interview showed a total “lack of concern” for the Royal Family.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex appeared on CBS’s Sunday Morning.
Where they announced their new project – The Parents Network.
Which aims to tackle child safety online and connect families who have lost their children to suicide due to a lack of safeguarding online.
During the interview, Meghan revealed she “only scratched the surface” of speaking about her mental health in her now-infamous interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2021.
And added she hopes “being open” about her own suicidal thoughts and “online bullying” can “save others”.
Now royal commentator Kinsey Schofield said that Meghan’s comment “only scratching the surface” is a “veiled threat” to the Royal Family and blasted the couple over their latest appearance as they showed a lack of “awareness and concern” for the mental health of their own family members, especially the Princess of Wales’s.
She told TalkTV: “[The line that Meghan’s only scratched the surface] sounds like a veiled threat to the Royal Family about what she could say going forward about her time [in the Firm]. I think Harry and Meghan not only lack credibility in this particular topic, I think they lack self-awareness. Where is their concern for the family’s mental health? Catherine’s? When Omid Scobie [targeted her in his book Endgame]?”
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle continue to face criticism following their recent interview on CBS’s Sunday Morning. Royal commentator Kinsey Schofield expressed her disapproval of the couple’s lack of concern for the mental health of the Royal Family, particularly Princess Diana. Schofield argued that Meghan’s comment about “only scratching the surface” in discussing her mental health issues was a veiled threat towards the Royal Family. In addition to questioning their credibility on the topic, Schofield also pointed out the lack of self-awareness displayed by Harry and Meghan. She raised concerns about their failure to address the mental health of family members such as Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, especially in light of recent controversies involving Omid Scobie’s book “Endgame.” The Duke and Duchess may need to reflect on their actions and consider the impact of their public statements on the well-being of their extended family members.
