Josie Gibson was in fits of laughter on Friday’s This Morning as a viewer called in to show off his ‘monstrous’ waxwork.
The presenter, 39, couldn’t contain her laughter when the image of the item popped up on screen as they spoke to the owner about the history of it.
The segment of the show saw expert Dan value prized possessions for callers – but this one in particular caught Josie by surprise.
Josie took a savage swipe at her friend Carla as she explained why the bust made her laugh so much.
Josie said she had to do a double take when she saw the 1920s waxwork as she thought the item looked exactly like her friend.
As the caller, named Hugh, explained about his possession Josie couldn’t keep in her laugh and was even told “Stop it” by Dan.
Josie’s co-star Craig Doyle said: ‘Quick question Hugh, you had this on your house as a child? You weren’t terrified?’
He responded: ‘Yeah. Do you know what when I was about three, I think I feel asleep in the lounge and woke up and it was dark and I had her staring at me. It did terrify me.’
Josie explained: ‘The reason I’m laughing is because she really looks like a friend of mine. So when I turned round I was like “Oh god, it’s Carla”.’
Dan added: ‘It’s even got real hair this’, sparking Josie’s wheezing laughing fit to continue.
Trying to continue with the show, Dan added: ‘I’ve seen some of these being listed online for astronomical prices of over £3000. The realistic price for this though is still a monumental, fantastic £1000.’
Josie said: ‘Amazing, oh she’s gorgeous. Don’t ever get rid of her though, she’s lovely’.
Dumbfounded Craig joked: ‘Or you can just bury it. It’s so scary Hugh.’
Fans were also in floods of laughter as they commented to the ‘creepy’ looking artwork on X.
Some wrote: ‘Dan and Josie are absolutely pissing themselves trying to do this #ThisMorning’,
‘Why tf would you want that weird face in your house? #ThisMorning’,
‘That’s horrific #ThisMorning’,
‘Josie’s laughing is giving me so much joy! #ThisMorning’,
‘OMG what is that monstrosity? #ThisMorning’.
