Josie Gibson was terrified upon seeing a creepy doll that looked exactly like a real person, with only a head sent by a fan: “Just bury it and don’t let me see it again!”

Josie Gibson was in fits of laughter on Friday’s This Morning as a viewer called in to show off his ‘monstrous’ waxwork.

The presenter, 39, couldn’t contain her laughter when the image of the item popped up on screen as they spoke to the owner about the history of it.

The segment of the show saw expert Dan value prized possessions for callers – but this one in particular caught Josie by surprise.

Josie took a savage swipe at her friend Carla as she explained why the bust made her laugh so much.

Josie said she had to do a double take when she saw the 1920s waxwork as she thought the item looked exactly like her friend.

As the caller, named Hugh, explained about his possession Josie couldn’t keep in her laugh and was even told “Stop it” by Dan.

Josie’s co-star Craig Doyle said: ‘Quick question Hugh, you had this on your house as a child? You weren’t terrified?’

He responded: ‘Yeah. Do you know what when I was about three, I think I feel asleep in the lounge and woke up and it was dark and I had her staring at me. It did terrify me.’

Josie explained: ‘The reason I’m laughing is because she really looks like a friend of mine. So when I turned round I was like “Oh god, it’s Carla”.’

Dan added: ‘It’s even got real hair this’, sparking Josie’s wheezing laughing fit to continue.

Trying to continue with the show, Dan added: ‘I’ve seen some of these being listed online for astronomical prices of over £3000. The realistic price for this though is still a monumental, fantastic £1000.’

Josie said: ‘Amazing, oh she’s gorgeous. Don’t ever get rid of her though, she’s lovely’.

Dumbfounded Craig joked: ‘Or you can just bury it. It’s so scary Hugh.’

Fans were also in floods of laughter as they commented to the ‘creepy’ looking artwork on X.

Some wrote: ‘Dan and Josie are absolutely pissing themselves trying to do this #ThisMorning’,

‘Why tf would you want that weird face in your house? #ThisMorning’,

‘That’s horrific #ThisMorning’,

‘Josie’s laughing is giving me so much joy! #ThisMorning’,

‘OMG what is that monstrosity? #ThisMorning’.

Amidst the laughter on Friday’s This Morning, Josie Gibson found herself unable to contain her amusement as a viewer proudly displayed his ‘monstrous’ waxwork. The presenter was caught off guard when the image of the peculiar item flashed on screen during their conversation with the owner about its backstory. Expert Dan, who was tasked with assessing prized possessions for callers, was taken aback by Josie’s uncontrollable laughter. Josie couldn’t resist making a playful jab at her friend Carla, comparing the 1920s waxwork to her uncanny resemblance to the item. As the caller, known as Hugh, recounted the story behind his possession, Josie’s laughter only intensified, prompting Dan to jokingly tell her to “Stop it”. Craig Doyle, Josie’s co-host, couldn’t help but ask Hugh about his childhood experience with the eerie waxwork, to which Hugh admitted it had terrified him as a child. Amidst the laughter and banter, Dan mentioned that similar waxwork items were being sold online for exorbitant prices upwards of £3000, but the realistic valuation for Hugh’s possession was a still impressive £1000. Josie couldn’t help but compliment the waxwork, jokingly advising Hugh to never part with it because of its loveliness. Craig, with a hint of sarcasm, suggested that perhaps burying the waxwork was a better option due to its unsettling appearance. Viewers watching at home also joined in on the amusement, commenting on the ‘creepy’ nature of the artwork showcased on This Morning. Some took to social media to express their amusement, with comments like ‘Dan and Josie are absolutely hysterical on #ThisMorning’ and ‘That monstrosity is giving me nightmares #ThisMorning’. The segment not only provided entertainment but also gave viewers a much-needed dose of laughter. Stay connected with us for more intriguing content and updates.
