EXCLUSIVE! Anton Du Beke fears being implicated in Giovanni Pernice’s abuse allegations, so he hurriedly avoids him right after their tour ends to avoid affecting his upcoming solo project

EXCLUSIVE: Anton Du Beke and Giovanni Pernice have recently finished a tour together and have co-hosted BBC shows in the past.

Anton Du Beke and Giovanni Pernice appear to have no further plans to work together despite recently just finishing a successful sold out tour together.

Both men are currently selling tickets for solo productions.

Giovanni’s show The Last Dance will begin in Hayes on January 20th next year and run until May 4 when it will end in the London Palladium. Anton meanwhile has three shows on offer at the moment.

Showman: An Evening With Anton Du Beke has dates listed from October 20 until November 21.

He then begins his Christmas with Anton and Friends show on November 24 which will run until December 23. Neither of these shows have Saturday performances to accomodate his judging duties on Strictly Come Dancing.

After a short break he will then tour his third show Anton Du Beke At the Musicals which begins on March 2 and ends on May 5. Prior to that, going by previous years, he will be out on tour with Strictly’s live shows.

Express.co.uk has contacted representatives for Anton Du Beke and Giovanni Pernice for comment.

This puts further professional distance between the pair, something Rochelle White from Rochelle White Communications feels is a conscious decision.

“I feel that Anton and his team have made a decision to step away from Giovanni, as from a brand reputation and PR perspective it would be for the best.

“Anton has an image that I feel he wants to protect and so it would make sense.

“Again, it’s not always a bad thing or a personal thing, sometimes it’s more about business and having success,” she speculated.

With such hectic touring schedules the earliest they could squeeze in another tour together would be next summer if they began rehearsals in May as they did this year.

However, it would be usual to announce some dates well in advance to ensure sales and many dates for the recent Together tour had been finalised by this time last year.

It has also been reported the BBC have scrapped their travelogue show. In May a source told Daily Star “Anton and Giovanni’s Adventures In… was a big success, but execs have decided to ditch it,”

“But Giovanni has now been told this won’t be happening and there will not be another series. It’s a blow for him as he’d hinted at a new series, but now he’s been informed that the project is dead in the water.”

Anton Du Beke and Giovanni Pernice have undoubtedly had a successful run together, with their recent sold-out tour and previous co-hosting gigs on BBC shows. Despite this, it seems that the dynamic dancing duo has decided to part ways professionally for the time being. Both Anton and Giovanni are now focusing on their solo projects, with Giovanni gearing up for his upcoming show, The Last Dance, set to kick off in January in Hayes and culminate in a grand finale at the London Palladium in May.On the other hand, Anton is also keeping busy with three solo shows lined up. From Showman: An Evening With Anton Du Beke to Christmas with Anton and Friends, and Anton Du Beke At the Musicals, he is set to dazzle audiences with his charismatic performances. It’s clear that both men are looking to carve out their own paths and shine individually in the spotlight.Rochelle White, a PR expert, suggests that this professional separation might be a strategic move on Anton’s part to safeguard his brand image and reputation. Sometimes in the world of show business, it’s essential to make calculated decisions for long-term success. And in this case, it seems like Anton is prioritizing his career trajectory and public perception.Considering their jam-packed schedules, it’s unlikely that Anton and Giovanni will reunite for another tour anytime soon. With their current commitments and projects in the pipeline, it would be challenging to find a window for joint rehearsals and performances. While fans may hope for a reunion in the future, for now, the two talented dancers are focusing on their individual endeavors. In an unexpected turn of events, it has been reported that the BBC has decided to discontinue Anton and Giovanni’s travelogue show. Despite its initial success, the network has chosen to move in a different direction, leaving Giovanni disappointed with the news of no future seasons. It’s a setback for the Italian dancer, who was eager to explore more adventures on screen. As the dance world awaits news of their next moves, one thing is certain – Anton and Giovanni are both powerhouse performers in their own right. While their professional paths may have diverged for now, there’s no doubt that they will continue to captivate audiences with their respective talents and charm. Stay tuned for more updates on their individual journeys and future projects.
