Fans criticized Pete Davidson’s disgusting deceit when he was caught “high on dr^gs at a strip club,” despite his previous claims of “successfully overcoming addiction”

Pete Davidson is sharing the one drug he still can’t give up after getting clean from other substances.

“I can’t quit [weed] yet. It’s all I have left,” the comedian told the crowd at his “Pete Davidson: Rehab Tour” in Atlantic City Saturday, per the Daily Mail.

“I did coke and ketamine and f–king all the pills and all that s–t. All I have is weed left, so it’s almost over, but I’m holding on for a little bit longer.”

In August 2023, Page Six exclusively revealed that Davidson, 30, dabbled with ketamine to treat his depression.

At the time, the “Saturday Night Live” alum was fresh out of rehab after seeking help to deal with his PTSD and borderline personality disorder, sources exclusively told us.

“Pete regularly goes to rehab for ‘tune ups’ and to take a mental break, so that’s what’s happening,” an insider explained.

Another source added that Davidson – who lost his firefighter father in the 9/11 terrorist attacks – knows when to take breaks “so he can focus on himself” and learn to “better deal with his PTSD issues.”

Months before seeking help, the “King of Staten Island” star was involved in a crash with then-girlfriend Chase Sui Wonders in March 2023.

At the time, Davidson was traveling “100 miles per hour” down a Beverly Hills neighborhood in his Mercedes-Benz when he hit a fire hydrant and slammed into the garage of a home, police records revealed.

The actor made light of the accident on Saturday after receiving the news that the charges against him had been dropped.

Davidson told the audience he didn’t see a stop sign and decided to ram into the home instead of a pedestrian he nearly missed.

“I saw the house and I was like, ‘I don’t think you could die if you hit a house.’ Usually in sitcoms they just go right through it,” he said, per the Daily Mail.

“So, I swerved and I aimed for the house and I actually hit the garage pretty good. Even at my worst, I’m pretty f–king spot on.”

The “Bupkis” star admitted he was “so scared” of potentially “going to jail.”

“The cop came, he was all pissed because I drove into a structure,” he explained. “I was freaking out, and I had to calm myself down.”

It wasn’t until Davidson realized that he “wasn’t drunk” and no one was dead that he would be fine.

As a punishment, the “Suicide Squad” star was required to complete 50 community service hours and a “safe driving course.”

He also had to “visit both a hospital and morgue to confront the fatal consequences of risky choices.”

“I was like, Can I just go to jail for a day? It seems like six weeks of work,” Davidson quipped.

Pete Davidson has been open about his struggles with substance abuse and mental health issues, but he recently revealed that he still can’t give up weed. Despite getting clean from other substances like cocaine and ketamine, Davidson admits that weed is the one thing he’s holding on to. This revelation came during his “Pete Davidson: Rehab Tour” in Atlantic City, where he candidly shared his journey to sobriety.Back in August 2019, Page Six reported that Davidson used ketamine to help with his depression, following a stint in rehab for PTSD and borderline personality disorder. Sources close to the comedian said that he regularly takes breaks to focus on his mental health and deal with his PTSD issues, including seeking help through rehab “tune ups.”Before seeking help, Davidson was involved in a car crash with his then-girlfriend Chase Sui Wonders in March 2019. Despite the reckless driving incident that caused him to hit a fire hydrant and crash into a garage, Davidson managed to find humor in the situation after learning that the charges against him were dropped. He shared with the audience that he swerved to avoid hitting a pedestrian and instead hit the garage, joking that he was “pretty spot on” even at his worst. The actor recounted feeling scared about the possibility of going to jail but ultimately realized that he wasn’t drunk and no one was injured in the crash. As a result, he was required to complete community service hours, attend a safe driving course, and visit a hospital and morgue to understand the consequences of risky choices.Despite the challenges he has faced, Davidson remains committed to his sobriety journey and continues to focus on his mental health. By sharing his experiences, he hopes to inspire others to seek help and take care of their well-being.
