Jennifer Garner was seen spending quality time with child, Fin, as the pair stepped out in the summer heat during an excursion in Brentwood on Saturday.
The 52-year-old Alias alum — who recently shared a fun aquatic game with her Instagram followers — was joined by the 15-year-old to grab a few items at a supermarket over the weekend.
The actress kept it casual in a short-sleeved, dark navy shirt as well as a pair of skintight, blue leggings.
She slipped into a pair of comfy, orange sneakers that were secured with laces and pulled her dark locks into a fuss-free ponytail and wore dark sunglasses.
Garner and Fin – formerly known as Seraphina – were spotted strolling through a crowded parking lot under the bright sunshine during the errand run.
Also on Saturday, Jennifer was spotted arriving at ex-husband Ben Affleck’s home in Los Angeles with their son Samuel.
The 13 Going On 30 star and her 12-year-old boy walked hand-in-hand as they visited the home in LA’s Brentwood neighborhood. In addition to Samuel and Fin, the exes also share Violet, 18.
While donning the same dark navy outfit, she fashionably draped a striped blue, green, and white sweater over her shoulders.
It comes amid mounting claims that Affleck, 51, and wife Jennifer Lopez’s, 54, marriage is on the rocks.
The visit to Affleck’s home comes amid reports that Ben and JLo’s marital woes have nothing to do with her status as a global superstar.
‘The idea that Ben thinks Jennifer is too famous and that he didn’t know what he was getting into with the attention on their marriage isn’t true,’ a source told People on Friday.
‘There are deeper issues,’ it was added.
The duo, who have not been pictured together for two months, appeared to spend their second wedding anniversary apart.
On Tuesday, July 16, Ben was seen smiling in Los Angeles as he headed to his office, while Jennifer enjoyed a getaway in The Hamptons.
The couple also spent Fourth of July weekend separately, with the This Is Me… Now star celebrating on the east coast with family and friends while the Deep Water actor stayed on the opposite side of the country.
Garner has made a conscious decision to step back from the ‘circus’ surrounding her ex-husband’s marriage to Lopez, according to insiders who claim the ongoing situation has unearthed ‘painful’ memories for the actress.
Insiders had previously revealed that she was acting as a ‘counselor’ to the couple, desperately trying to help them fix their alleged issues.
Sources later said the Elektra star has decided to remove herself entirely.
‘Jen eventually got to a place where she was like, “Sorry, figure this out yourself,”‘ an insider told DailyMail.com.
‘It was beginning to become too painful for her because it was bringing back so many memories of their divorce,’ the person added.
Later on Saturday, Garner jumped to her main Instagram page and shared an adorable clip as she gave her cat, Moose, a grand tour of their house.
At the beginning of the video, text was added towards the top which read, ‘Showing my cat places in the house he’s never seen before.’
While holding her cat in her arms, Jennifer could be seen standing in a hallway in a striped shirt as well as khaki-colored pants.
She first gave Moose a glimpse of what the inside of the refridgerator looked like, and allowed her pet to glance at the shelves.
The actress then showed the cat the microwave, and had a humorous moment when Moose tried to climb over her shoulder.
Garner also allowed Moose a close-up look at the fish tank as she held the fluffy cat close to see the fish swimming inside.
Lastly, her pet was shown her own bed but when Jennifer tried picking Moose up, his claws got momentarily stuck in the blanket.
‘Moose asked for a tour,’ the mother-of-three penned in the caption, as the track Forever by The Little Dippers played in the background.
