Good Morning Britain presenter Susanna Reid could be replaced by a very familar face as she takes a break from the ITV show.
Rochelle Humes is among the frontrunners to step in for Susanna Reid as a guest host of Good Morning Britain this summer, according to betideas.com.
Reid announced last week she’s taking a break from Good Morning Britain until September. Ex-The Saturdays star Humes will fill in for her during this time.
Lorraine Kelly, who previews her show on GMB and airs alongside its +1 edition, is at 5/1 odds, ahead of Humes.
Market leader Charlotte Hawkins, a regular GMB presenter, is expected to take a more prominent role during Reid’s absence, leading at 4/7 odds.
Other notable names in the betting are Ruth Langsford (8/1), Frankie Bridge (12/1), Alison Hammond and Josie Gibson (both 16/1), and Carol Vorderman (25/1).
Lorraine Kelly, who regularly appears on GMB to preview her Lorraine show, and whose show is on at the same time as GMB’s +1 edition, sits ahead of Humes in the betting at 5/1 with the duo both trailing market leader Charlotte Hawkins (4/7). Hawkins regularly appears as a presenter on GMB, but is being tipped to take a more hands-on role while Reid is off duty.

Susanna told viewers on Wednesday July 10: “I’m going to say goodbye because it’s now time for me to go off on a break… You never know, I might pop up in the meantime. But otherwise, I’ll see you back in September.”
Ed Balls responded: “Do you have to? Can’t you stay a bit?” Susanna replied: “You will be in the capable hands of the rest of the Good Morning Britain team, including our lovely green highlighter this morning, Charlotte.”
GMB airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.
