Eamonn Holmes enrages viewers by mocking King Charles’ illness on GB News, ‘How can you expect a sick person (King Charles) to go that far?”

Eamonn Holmes had a few words to say to his GB News guest Christopher Biggings as they clashed over the Royals’ decision to not visit New Zealand on their tour.

Eamonn Holmes had an expletive-filled reaction to Christopher Biggins’ fury at the Royals leaving New Zealand out on their upcoming royal tour.

The 64-year-old presenter was on deck to present Monday’s GB News along with his trusty co-host Isabel Webster.

The duo discussed England’s crushing loss to Spain in the Euros 2024 final.

They also weighed in on King Charles and Queen Camilla’s royal tour announcement, noting that they would not be visiting New Zealand despite stopping in Australia and Samoa.

Christopher was on hand to give his verdict on the decision, pointing out: “It’s bizarre. It’s bizarre thinking. And I think if I was in New Zealand I’d be very upset,” referring to the fact the nation isn’t getting a royal visit.

Eammon clearly disagreed with Christopher’s point as he exclaimed: “Why? It’s in the a– end of nowhere, how can you expect the sick man to go that distance?”

Isabel’s jaw dropped wide open as she agreed with her co-host adding: “Yes it is a long way.”

Eamonn continued justifying his opinion: “It’s too far. It’s absolutely ridiculous,” as Christopher attempted to diffuse the situation admitting: “I agree. But if he is going, why go to –” before being cut off by Eamonn.

“Because it’s an extra four hours each way which is either ours which is a working day. Goodness me,” Eamonn fumed.

Isabel jumped to Christopher’s defence by agreeing with his point, adding: “If you can get as far as Australia–” but was then cut off by Eamonn.

“It’s like going to bloody Antarctica,” Eamonn butted in as Isabel joked “steady on” in an attempt to calm her co-host down.

The Royal Tour news comes after it was announced the King was diagnosed with testicular cancer.

It was revealed that he underwent nine weeks of chemotherapy for testicular cancer in early 2023.

But now, seemingly on the mend, King Charles and his wife Queen Camilla will be jetting down under to visit Australia and Samoa later this year in October.

Eamonn Holmes and Christopher Biggings clashed over the Royals’ decision not to visit New Zealand on their upcoming tour. Eamonn was clearly not impressed with Christopher’s outrage at the omission of New Zealand from the royal itinerary.

As the discussion unfolded on GB News, Isabel Webster, Eamonn’s co-host, seemed taken aback by the heated exchange between the two guests. The tension in the studio was palpable as Eamonn vehemently defended the Royals’ decision, citing the long distance and practicality of the visit.

Despite Christopher’s attempts to reason with Eamonn, the latter was not swayed and continued to express his disbelief at the idea of traveling all the way to New Zealand. Isabel’s attempts to mediate the debate were quickly overshadowed by Eamonn’s passionate arguments.

It was evident that Eamonn’s strong opinions on the matter were fueled by a sense of practicality and realism. His blunt remarks about the distance to New Zealand and the challenges of such a trip left little room for compromise.

As the segment concluded, it was clear that the discussion had left both Eamonn and Christopher with differing perspectives on the Royal Tour announcement. Despite the disagreement, the lively debate added a spark to the show and kept viewers on the edge of their seats.
