Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright experienced a terrifying home invasion when four masked raiders broke into their £3.5 million mansion in Essex. 

The couple, who are expecting their first child together, were forced to lock themselves in a bedroom as the ordeal unfolded around 6 p.m. on Tuesday.

According to reports, the couple heard the sound of smashing glass and the blaring of their security alarm before quickly seeking refuge in one of their bedrooms. 

The gang of intruders, who were dressed in black and wearing balaclavas, managed to enter the property but fled within a minute after Mark shouted, scaring them off.

Authorities were alerted through the couple’s high-tech security system, and police arrived within minutes. 

Fortunately, the raiders left empty-handed, making a swift escape in a getaway car. A source close to the couple described the incident as deeply distressing, particularly for Michelle, who is heavily pregnant.

“It was a traumatic experience for both of them, but they are relieved that neither of them were injured. Mark did the sensible thing and stayed with his wife to make sure she was okay. They waited for police to arrive before leaving the room,” the source shared.
