Sheinelle Jones, a beloved host of Today, is known for balancing her demanding career with a fulfilling family life. 

Born in 1978 to Sheila Kinnard and Judge C. Darnell Jones, Sheinelle grew up in a close-knit family with four siblings.

In 2008, Judge Jones was nominated to the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania by President George W. Bush. Sheinelle’s mother, Sheila Kinnard, is a retired drama teacher who enjoyed a fulfilling career at Mayberry Cultural Fine Arts Middle School and as a performer in Wichita’s theater scene.
