Shaquille O’Neal, the larger-than-life NBA legend turned DJ, has made it clear that he is ready to be the next target of a comedy roast. 

After witnessing the uproarious success of The Roast of Tom Brady on Netflix, O’Neal revealed he’d love to take a turn in the hot seat himself. 

The 52-year-old basketball icon expressed his admiration for comedian Nikki Glaser, 

who was among the most memorable roasters in Brady’s special, and even challenged her to take aim at him next.

O’Neal made the bold proclamation at his Shaq’s Fun House party in New Orleans, which took place ahead of the 2025 Super Bowl. 

During an interview with Page Six, when asked whom he’d like to see roastee next, O’Neal didn’t skip a beat. “Me. Roast me,” he said, laughing. 

“I don’t get sensitive,” he continued, showing the kind of confidence that made him famous both on and off the basketball court.

O’Neal then recalled Glaser’s performance during Brady’s roast, where she delivered some particularly sharp and cutting humor. “That girl that killed Tom Brady—I want her. What’s her name?” he asked, seemingly eager for Glaser’s unfiltered comedy. When reminded that it was Nikki Glaser, O’Neal leaned into the camera and addressed the comedian directly, saying, “Nikki, you can say whatever you want about me, my mama, my kids. Let’s do it.”

O’Neal’s playful challenge to Glaser signals his easygoing attitude toward public jabs and his belief that he can take whatever comes his way in the name of good humor. His candidness about not getting offended stands in contrast to Brady’s reportedly more sensitive response to some of the jokes made during the roast, which focused on Brady’s career and personal life.
