Jenna Bush Hager, co-host of *Today*, made a lighthearted promise to her viewers during Tuesday’s broadcast 

after a viral moment involving her father, former President George W. Bush, took over social media and caused a stir in the Bush family group chat. 

The viral video clip featured George W. Bush at the 2025 Presidential Inauguration of Donald Trump, 

where his playful facial expressions during the event became a source of online entertainment.

During the *Morning Boost* segment, Jenna, 43, addressed the viral moment 

and shared that the video had quickly become a topic of conversation in her family. 

“This is it. This is the last George W boost,” Jenna joked with her co-hosts, referring to the amusing clip of her father’s amusing and seemingly whimsical expressions during the inauguration. She added, “Everybody has been talking about yesterday’s inauguration but you all already guessed what moment has been blowing up our family group chat.”

The video clip, which showed George W. Bush sitting among former presidents and other dignitaries during Trump’s swearing-in ceremony, captured his playful demeanor as he made eye contact with someone in the audience. Jenna offered a humorous explanation for her father’s expression, saying, “The internet is obsessed with his little smile and goofy expression, he must have made eye contact with somebody.”

Jenna’s lighthearted commentary continued as she read aloud some of the viral memes from the moment, including one that read, “George W. She went on to explain that, ahead of public appearances, she often gives her father advice on how to behave. “And sometimes I’ll say to him, ‘Dad, the attention is going to be on you so just try to keep it cool,'” Jenna revealed during an episode of *Today* with Jenna & Friends.

Despite moments of embarrassment, Jenna emphasized the strong bond she shares with her father, often reflecting on the ways George W. Bush supported his children throughout their lives. “I love him, and he was present, he was paying attention to us and made us feel we could do anything,” Jenna shared, highlighting the depth of their relationship.

Though her father’s playful viral moments continue to generate attention, Jenna’s promise to her audience is clear: no more George W. Bush stories on *Today*.
