Katie Price has revealed she has already broken her New Year’s resolution just weeks into 2025.
The 46-year-old former glamour model confessed in a YouTube video that her vow to quit vaping didn’t last long.
Filming alongside her sister Sophie and boyfriend JJ Slater, Katie opened up about her goals for the year and shared some unexpected updates with her fans.
Breaking Her Resolution
When discussing her New Year’s resolution, Katie admitted:
“I did have a New Year’s resolution, and that was to stop vaping—and I’m still vaping. That’s it. But other than that, she’s back, ready to rock and roll and graft.”
Despite not sticking to her resolution, Katie expressed enthusiasm for the year ahead. She mentioned plans to create a mood board outlining her aspirations and emphasized her determination to achieve them, saying:
“I feel like the old me again. Whatever I want to achieve, I know I will—tunnel vision, that’s the way forward.”
Meet Katie’s ‘Three Newborns’
Katie surprised fans by introducing her “three newborns” in the video. However, these weren’t real babies but rather lifelike dolls, often referred to as reborn dolls. These hyper-realistic creations, which can cost anywhere from £300 to £20,000, are commonly used by mothers grieving the loss of a child.
Addressing her 354,000 YouTube subscribers, Katie explained:
“Everyone was asking me online about babies because I put pictures up with babies. So I do have my own babies—here they are.”
Katie laid the dolls on a bed and lovingly held one named Olive. She shared that these dolls are therapeutic for people unable to have children, those who have experienced stillbirths, or others dealing with loss. “Why can’t you be an adult and have a doll?” she asked, addressing potential criticism.
JJ Slater, Katie’s boyfriend, brought the dolls into the frame, jokingly calling them their babies before returning them to their “beds.” Katie’s affection for the dolls ties into her ongoing journey with IVF, which will be chronicled in her upcoming Channel 4 documentary.
Channel 4 Documentary on IVF Journey
Katie’s two-part Channel 4 series, set to air on January 20 and 21, delves into her IVF journey with her ex-fiancé Carl Woods. Despite their breakup in 2023, the pair granted permission for the footage to be broadcast. The documentary is expected to explore Katie’s desire for more children and her decision to use a surrogate.
Carl previously shared insights into their IVF attempts, revealing they considered traveling to Cyprus for the process before their split. The show will also feature Katie’s children but will not include her current partner, JJ Slater.
Concerns Over Health
Katie has recently sparked concern among fans due to her noticeably slimmer appearance. In a recent social media clip with her daughter Princess, she appeared gaunt, prompting followers to voice their worries. Comments flooded her posts, urging her to focus on her health, with many pleading, “No more weight loss.”
Katie previously addressed similar concerns, attributing her weight loss to a new fitness routine. A representative assured fans that Katie’s focus on exercise has been part of her overall well-being.
Katie’s Year Ahead
Despite personal challenges, Katie remains optimistic about 2025. With her documentary debuting soon and her determination to achieve her goals, the reality star appears ready to tackle whatever comes her way. Fans will undoubtedly continue to follow her journey, both as a mother and a public figure, with keen interest.
As Katie herself puts it, “Manifest, get it done, no excuses, just get on with it.”
