But GMB’s Susanna and Lorraine Kelly are said to be frustrated that top names such as Ryan Gosling, Princess Beatrice and Brian Cox are not on their shows.
A source said: “There’s in-fighting between the production teams, not just for ratings but for guests.
“Susanna has been vocal about wanting bigger names and is frustrated they’re going elsewhere.
“Lorraine has voiced the same view.
“It feels like big stars are being shipped to This Morning to try and pull them out of a hole.”
This Morning hosts Ben, 49, and 47-year-old Cat saw viewing figures fall from more than a million in March to 590,000 in May.
ITV said at the time that the show was still reaching four million viewers a week.
But GMB pulled in 4.5 million to their Election Results Vote show on July 5, fronted by Susanna and Ed Balls.

Reports indicate that tensions are on the rise at ITV, specifically between the shows Good Morning Britain and This Morning. It seems that Susanna Reid has expressed frustration over This Morning getting bigger stars compared to her own show.
Insiders suggest that Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard are being given better guests in an effort to boost ratings, with This Morning experiencing a slump in viewership. This has led to conflict between the production teams of the two shows, as they compete not just for ratings but also for high-profile guests.
Susanna Reid and Lorraine Kelly are reportedly unhappy that top names like Ryan Gosling, Princess Beatrice, and Brian Cox are not appearing on their show. There is a sense of disappointment that these big stars are opting to go on This Morning instead.
It appears that the hosts of This Morning, Ben and Cat, have seen a drop in viewership from over a million to 590,000 between March and May. Despite ITV stating that the show still reaches four million viewers weekly, the decline in numbers is cause for concern.
On the other hand, Good Morning Britain managed to attract 4.5 million viewers to their Election Results Vote show in July, which was hosted by Susanna and Ed Balls. It seems that the competition for guests and ratings between the two shows is heating up.
It will be interesting to see how this feud between Good Morning Britain and This Morning plays out in the coming weeks, and whether the issue of guest appearances continues to be a point of contention.
